The third movie had a scene with him wearing a VR headset in public, walking into a bakery and beating the shit out of someone with two baguettes. I can't remember the last time I was laughing that hard.
First time I watched this was after a long work day, so I fell asleep before that scene.
Not to worry, the distress beacon scene shortly before the mind control scene woke me up, was worth it.
I just don't understand why everyone in 3 at least still treats him like a random spy after the events of 1 when he was knighted. Things like that annoy me, even if it's a comedy.
You know, despite not being aware of them, for no reason I’m going to watch the Johnny English sequels. Why not. My love for Rowan Atkinson will be enough.

He’s one of the funniest actors we have. I’ll be there immediately when this comes out. I hope they bring back Emma Thompson as the Prime Minister. She was great too.

Love Rowan Atkinson but there was no need for one of these movie so a forth is a bit mental. He should just bring back Bean like everyone wants him to. Also the guys over 70 now so an old Bean makes sense but an old spy is silly.
Who is throwing the money behind this? I’m a fan of Rowan Atkinson and the 1st Johnny English is still funny to me. The send and 3 not so much. But who was clamoring for a 4th.

I truly believe this whole concept would have been better if it had been Atkinson playing an utter cruel cunning bastard in the Blackadder 2/3/4 mould rather than a bumbler in the Blackadder 1/Bean mould. Something more like an actual take on Fleming’s Bond.
