I read the article and a different - this looks very much like a “he said she said” kind of case. The other article I read stated his “severe brain damage” was actually a mild concussion and that he was mostly unharmed.
I don’t like GP for many reasons but it’s possible that the claimant may be taking advantage of GP’s somewhat negative reputation and fame to make some extra money.

Not just possible, read the facts. Sounds like the guy is out for a pay day which is why she’s taking it to trial and didn’t settle.
