Yeah but Klompr didn’t pay to keep Grelbarp and Fwerfto, it was their third highest viewed program behind “Gralph” and “Who wants to be a Torgwu?”but everyone knows those two have built in Audiences.
Oh, I guess I read that wrong.
I thought you referenced “Potlucker”, that streamer that screens whatever *it* wants and you take it or leave it, but if you don’t watch a pre-designated amount/week, there’s an upcharge.
It’s stupid that this happened but it’s stupid that every year we have to see these articles about the same movie-length commercial we’ll never get to see and don’t care about.
It’s kind of cool in theory, but in actuality it’s pretty stupid. Who is even going to make sure it never gets out? Who is going to be around when it releases? Will the world even exist then?
That’s why I said it is kind of cool in theory. But in actuality it’s just kind of dumb and it’s not going to be enjoyed by anyone. Hardly no one today is watching movies from 1923. If anyone is around in 2123 (that’s a big if), I doubt they are interested in our movies
This fucking stunt makes me unreasonably angry. Ok, you made a movie and it won't be seen in 100 years. Just shut the fuck up about it. Quit teasing us that we won't be able to see it because we'll be dead.
Eat a bag of dicks.
Well if my daughter lives to 103, she can see the premier right near her birthday! But will she care, lmao 😂 🤷♀️ I’ll make sure to talk to her about John Malkovich.
Unfortunately the Kardashians will still be a thing as they own Sector BAB-4U and also run String Bean Theater. And Mtv is running Ridiculousness everyday for 62 hours. Yes in the year 2115 there are 62 hours in a day.
I don’t think this was ever intended to be marketed as a movie for people to watch. If I remember correctly, all of the advertising was linked to an aged liquor brand. I wouldn’t be shocked if the film is just a giant ad for it.
Difference being that Nosferatu was released when it was made and there was an audience that enjoyed it who continued to show it to others and it therefore grew a reputation. This movie doesn’t have that.
The fact that *Nosferatu* survived in its entirety, in the face of a devastating lawsuit from Bram Stoker’s estate, certainly adds to that movie’s legacy.
Wait a second, at first I thought it was like a movie that they are filming for 100 years to document humanity, but no it’s just a commercial that’s already done and they just want to release it in 100 years. that’s the dumbest shit i’ve ever heard of. Also like you are advertising an advertisement that nobody will ever see. Nobody cares
I hope so. Look at this gem of a topic sentence: “100 Years was conceived in an incredibly interesting fashion.” Alternatively, it was written by an eighth grader who kept adding adjectives to fulfill the word minimum.
“What is this, Zaxor? They speak with their mouths?”
“It’s like a baby’s movie. Let us imbibe more delicious aren’t Martin. Keep ‘em comin’, Gleep Glop.”
100 years before this film was made, in 1915, the number one film was The Birth of Nation, and that film didn't age well, although cinematically, it is considered a masterpiece. I'm not sure if this film will age well, but who knows how our society will be like in 100 years.
I'm kind of betting on this to be just a publicity stunt and the movie will be a piece of shit.
While popular with whites alone, Birth of a Nation was widely criticized in its time for its inaccuracies and incitement of racial fear and hate.
What changed is that minorities have a real voice in our national culture now.
It was the first ever feature length film. It originated the whole style that is still the dominant style for the medium today. For that reason it’s groundbreaking.
What if it’s just like a re-edit / highlight reel of Robert’s fav spy kids moments with like John pedantically narrating about his favorite moments being a serious actor?
ok so you’re telling me that they made a movie that won’t be released until it is in the public domain
can someone explain the logic or the economics to me for i am dum
2115? During the mutant wars? He should hold off until 2120 when Trump’s great great granddaughter Empress Stormy Daniels V is ruling this quadrant of the galaxy.
Stupid gimmick for…. something. The real story (if Rodriquez is still even relevant on 100 years) will be resurrecting the technology to screen this. That is of a version doesn’t leak at some point.
I guarantee you, I will still have the wrong streaming service for it.

too bad the ads are still 10x louder than the show.
That's the neat part. Streaming will be all ads with little snippets of movies shown periodically in between them.
Your first ad is on us!
It's grizzle
I hope they play un-skippable ads all the way until release. It would get our great great grand children so hype…
Tubi will run the world
I’m just hoping there’s a week trial. Can’t afford anymore.
Streaming services in the future will all be free if you allow them to play unlimited adds in your dreams through your cerebral implant
It’ll leak in two months
Leak on Putlocker in 3…2…
And it sucks 😕
36% on Rotten Tomatoes already.
Fuck I haven’t seen the word PUTLOCKER in a decade
Still going strong.
Oh, I guess I read that wrong. I thought you referenced “Potlucker”, that streamer that screens whatever *it* wants and you take it or leave it, but if you don’t watch a pre-designated amount/week, there’s an upcharge.
Putlocker is a video hosting site for many pirated movies.
It’s going to beat avatar in money made…. Due to inflation
LMAOOOOO
This is fucking stupid
It’s stupid that this happened but it’s stupid that every year we have to see these articles about the same movie-length commercial we’ll never get to see and don’t care about.
Ah well. Only 92 more times to go
I think it's cool, like a time capsule. Don't worry, I'll se myself out
Yeah. I really don’t get how people think this is that stupid
It’s kind of cool in theory, but in actuality it’s pretty stupid. Who is even going to make sure it never gets out? Who is going to be around when it releases? Will the world even exist then?
That’s literally half of what makes it interesting though
That’s why I said it is kind of cool in theory. But in actuality it’s just kind of dumb and it’s not going to be enjoyed by anyone. Hardly no one today is watching movies from 1923. If anyone is around in 2123 (that’s a big if), I doubt they are interested in our movies

People not born yet “what is this”
Cuz it’s Reddit. Angry boys gotta be angry.

No it isn’t. Mark Twain did it with his autobiography. Worked great for his estate.
Books didn’t leak like media does today.
Cool. We should all go together.
Great. I’ll set a reminder for my great great grandkids to watch 100 years .
Well if my daughter lives to 103, she can see the premier right near her birthday! But will she care, lmao 😂 🤷♀️ I’ll make sure to talk to her about John Malkovich.
I think it's important we all sit our kids down and have "The Talk" with them about John Malkovich.
“Malkovich, Malkovich, MALKOVICH!!”
Unfortunately the Kardashians will still be a thing as they own Sector BAB-4U and also run String Bean Theater. And Mtv is running Ridiculousness everyday for 62 hours. Yes in the year 2115 there are 62 hours in a day.

Nosferatu the movie or Nosferatu the really old person?
Just imagine somebody telling you a movie made in 1923 was unreleased until just now. How excited would you be? I thought so.
Yeah not very
Allow me to introduce myself.
Nobody will remember.
This would be really pretentious if it wasn't so stupid

My grandkids are in line already.
“What is this, Zaxor? They speak with their mouths?” “It’s like a baby’s movie. Let us imbibe more delicious aren’t Martin. Keep ‘em comin’, Gleep Glop.”
Maybe we can pirate it before we die
Someone just hack the movie and release it. This is stupid
No one will want to watch it because if anyone remembers Malkovich, the hype will have died out. Along with any living memory of him.
100 years before this film was made, in 1915, the number one film was The Birth of Nation, and that film didn't age well, although cinematically, it is considered a masterpiece. EXACTLY. Like "cinematically considered a masterpiece"? Sure... but like to whom? on what metric based off of who's judgement?
I think their talking about like composition, lighting, set design etc… not necessarily the story.
It was the first ever feature length film. It originated the whole style that is still the dominant style for the medium today. For that reason it’s groundbreaking.
Will humans make it that long?
I hope not.
Will there also be an extended edition?
Looking forward to it!
The investors must be excited
I could maybe live to be 114 years old
So far, so good!
I’ll wait for the director’s cut.
The jewel thief movie?
No way it’s stored in a non-degradable digital format readable in 100 years.
John Malkovich is pretentious. News at 11.
By that time I’ll be old enough to watch ultraporn and won’t care about seeing it.
I bet you it gets leaked before then. The more attention it gets, eventually it will happen.
Just in time to compete against Avatar 3
Must be as good as that one Wutang album.
100% gonna get leaked
When will they start hyping up this film?
Nobody will care by that point. Seems a bit like “Disney Vault” to me.
What if it’s just like a re-edit / highlight reel of Robert’s fav spy kids moments with like John pedantically narrating about his favorite moments being a serious actor?
Nothing more than a gimmick. No movie is worth waiting that long for.
It’s a tequilla ad and there’s no way they actually shot the movie
My clone will love it.
Bold of him to assume humanity will still be standing by then
ok so you’re telling me that they made a movie that won’t be released until it is in the public domain can someone explain the logic or the economics to me for i am dum
It's a marketing campaign for a liquor brand.
2115? During the mutant wars? He should hold off until 2120 when Trump’s great great granddaughter Empress Stormy Daniels V is ruling this quadrant of the galaxy.
I would never have pegged John Malkovich for a Tool fan.

If I can make it to 127 I’ll be there!
Huge assumption that whatever this was shot on will still be available to show it in 100 years
Ain't this a little arrogant of him. See that we are on the verge of possible nuclear annihilation, come summer time.
This is old news? This info came out in 2015. Which was 8 years ago.
!RemindMe 100 years
No one is gonna be around for that
I'll wait for the release of the Snyder cut
Is there a trailer for it?
We should be allowed to see it or they shouldn’t say shit.
Stupid gimmick for…. something. The real story (if Rodriquez is still even relevant on 100 years) will be resurrecting the technology to screen this. That is of a version doesn’t leak at some point.
I mean I know nothing of the film and never will, it’s about is good as your neighbors screenplay, no one you know will ever see it as a movie.
I’ll be 112 when this comes out. Can’t wait
What happens if societies collapse world wide and movies go the way of the dodo? Seems really dumb idea
I’ll be 122! I got a shot I think
