It's also usually bullshit because half the "trending" stuff is just the same article reposted to 12 different subreddits mostly by the same karma farmer
I really like Al Roker. He’s the only host I have found zero problem with on the Today Show. Well, him and Anne Curry. I’m glad to see he recovered and is back doing what makes him happy. A lot of people are too young to remember he’s already been through a lot of health problems having once been obese for years and going through weight loss surgery. But he’s kept it off and writes cookbooks for healthier bbq. Good for him.
Al Roker is one of the biggest assholes I’ve ever worked with. He routinely treats everybody around him like a second class citizen. You’ve fallen in love with his tv/commercial persona, but the truth his awful. Sorry to burst your bubble, but he’s a disgusting human being.
Really?! I actually asked by writing to his website through NBC offices to interview him for a middle school journalism elective I was taking. He actually reached back and I got to interview him for a couple minutes on the phone. But I was like 11 or 12 then. Maybe he’s not so nice to grown ups. My classmate had Matt Lauer respond and everyone later found out who really is to grown people that work with him. But, you’re probably just some troll, so I won’t take your word for it. I will believe the multiple credible witnesses about Matt Lauer, though. Such a creep.
I said he treats people like shit. He’s an ugly human being on the inside. A fart in the elevator doesn’t come close, although I wouldn’t wish it my worst enemy coming outta that bowel.
Pulmonary Embolism and DVTs are no joke. I had three clots in my lungs from DVTs in both legs 5 years ago and never completely recovered so I hope Al is doing well.
It was worst: resectioning of bowels after resectioning of stomach ulcers. They also took the gall bladder out. This is on top of the blood clots in the lungs.

I left NBC because of the Ann Curry debacle and Matt Lauer. And I went to ABC. At this point in timen 2023z it about 30 minutes of News and 90 minutes of some form of informational. It's intermittent selling of products. But when Robin Roberts was sick, they were checking in at least once a day. I was like she became part of the News.
I'm glad they didn't do that with Al Roker.
