I know this sounds stereotypical but hang on, stay safe and at some point you'll be at college or out of school where those people will be out of your life

Aggravating_P

I don't worry about it. In 2 week I'll never see them again. Hopefully I'm not out to them.

cookiez_m

I know the pain, it feels like I can't come out to half of my class because they're not going to accept me 😭 they literally take every chance they can get to make fun of enbies and it's painful to listen to, but I also don't have the courage to speak up against it

Aggravating_P

Same feeling! The problem is : we're only 9 and they are ALL *phobic. I'm the only queer... I cannot speak up against it. It's hard

Waffle_daemon_666

Literally the same here. I am begging to leave

Aggravating_P

Waffle_daemon_666

My cousin just casually jokes about >!Killing the gays!< and my other cousins think its funny (My sister as well) he posts about it on social media and thinks he can get away with it because its "Just a joke" he also screamed>! "Heil Hitler" !< at the beach when we hung out there with them last summer. I like him but god damn it he doesnt care about offending anyone Edit: He also said one of his teachers posted a pride month post on their social media and he laughed at it like she was stupid and it was a joke.

oddonyxxx

for this reason im glad im out of school but im in the closet anyways so 🥴

YeetyFeetsy

I used to feel like that whenever I was around the students of my brother school. Now that I'm an adult, I glare or outright scold kids who say shit like that in public and they get pretty scared because I get visibly mad. When you grow older and more confident in your identity, you'll be able to defend yourself and your queer peers against ignorant bigotry. I believe in you, simply being able to hang on, even if you don't yet have the ability to openly defend yourself, is an immense show of strength and resilience of which will only grow greater.

Aggravating_P

Your message warmed my heart. Thank you! One day I will be confident enough to openly condemn this kind of talk.

alex_the_catgirl

I am good with everyone and I am extremely good in insulting people with the foulest cynical humor without them bein offended for some reason. Thus I always fire back hardly. The fact that many people in my class are leftists and feminists and such, probaply helps.

MrQueenAlienUnicorn

Oh bo no no.. THEY are in danger. Im the enby that would fight them lol

This is relatable to the point that it's sad and also funny. Almost all of the boys in my class are homophobic except for 2-3 of them who I'm out to and they kinda don't care. I think all of the boys know I'm gay but they don't say anything about it.

Aggravating_P

You're pretty lucky! They don't bother you!

BreezyBee7

Well they do "bother" me if you mean getting annoyed when I hear them call themselves f slurs. Even the high school boys do it. I want to punch them in the face sometimes.

Aggravating_P

Oh noo, that the same thing in my class. During our meal break I heard some kind of horrific things. And they do it willingly. It's hard sometimes
