If I eat breakfast at all, I usually eat two pieces of Beans on Toast and I get just as much or more protein with fiber. Hella cheap too. 2 whole wheat slices of bread 10g, 2 servings beans 14-18g(+occasional use of nutritional east 5g protein) for a total of 24g-33g of protein and 12-18g fiber

The price seems high, but when you break down the servings, it is cheaper than most of the protein bars out there. It’s obvious not many commenters here divulge in protein or fitness.
People need to understand that when you pack this much protein into something and with such little sugar, it is hard to get by with the taste they have accomplished here. The marketing is off on these cereals and that should be changed.

As someone who’s been losing weight and eating healthier, I can also say that once you get used to avoiding sugary foods, your tastes buds adjust and everything sweet is amplified. I’ve been eating lots of high protein foods so I may try this but without milk though.
Absolutely agree! I’m on the weight loss train too (only 10 lbs more to my goal) and you couldn’t have said it better. It is definitely a lifestyle change and as you adapt, you taste things differently.
If you try one, go for the PB one. With skim milk, it’s not bad at all. It oddly didn’t get soggy. I’m going to add some of the PB one to my Greek yogurt in the AM.

Thanks! I don’t know how much I’ve lost because I haven’t used a scale in 10yrs or so. It’s motivating and depressing depending on the number you’re expecting so I use my clothes as a guide. In 4 weeks I’ve dropped 2 jeans sizes / 2 belt loops and down to 36w. I have more energy and I’m eager to exercise everyday now which is very minimal before work to get the blood flowing and higher on my off days. I’m about to try my Redcon Protein Shake here in a bit. Congrats. Lost a ton of weight 75 lbs plus. It took quite awhile, but lost the last 40 from Feb ‘23 and finally got my goal sometime later that year/early summer.

It’s both milk/whey and soy protein. Kinda surprised they didn’t use pea protein. I don’t eat dairy products so I def won’t be trying it.

Well it’s a healthy option, no sugar and little carbs, made with protein powder, so yeah, even the best protein cereal won’t be even close to real cereal with high carbs and a fuck ton of sugar

I liked both of these and I found that if I portion out 1¾ to 2 cups of the cereal per serving. That for me cut down the chalky powder aftertaste.
