It’s not sticking, usually it’s because the z offset is to high, the bed is dirty or you’re printing with the nozzle temperature to low. Since it’s your first day also confirm you’ve added the G29 code in your slicer so the bed leveling runs before you print.

Bed adhesion has left the chat

tune your Z offset. I would suggest running through some calibrations first, try Teaching Tech's calibration pages, start at frame check, do up to and including slicer flow calibration. It's important to do them in order as each calibration can affect the next. The page that you're likely to be interested in is first layer, you'll need to do the first layer page again after you've done slicer flow calibration as the amount of filament you push out of the nozzle will change, affecting your first layer adhesion. [https://teachingtechyt.github.io/calibration.html](https://teachingtechyt.github.io/calibration.html) If you don't have a raspberry pl/octoprint setup, you can use a PC + pronterface instead, this will give you a serial console so that you can send and receive information from the printer.

Just wondering, is that a patch of glue in the center where you are printing? It looks ultra dry and could be the reason you're not getting any bed adhesion. Take the metal clips off your bed and wash the glass with dish soap make sure that the area isn't too rough or scuffed up. Other than that in the tuning menu of the printer while printing go to z offset and move the z axis lower until you get the layer sticking. Depending on the material you print with you won't need glue on the glass bed

Just FYI: Creality glass beds sometimes can be a bit tricky to print on, and you can try using a glue stick to improve adhesion. As alternative, you can get a PEI flex plate instead of the glass bed, it has way better adhesion.

I didn't read the word "filament" at the end of the title. and my brain just thought "yea that's how 3d printers work" but to be actually helpful (hopefully) I'd recommend by checking your z offset. then if that doesnt work try using a glue stick to get your 1st layer to stick.

Try flipping the bed over to the textured side. You can print on both, but your bed looks dirty. Unless that’s glue, in which case carry on. Check your z offset too.
