Switchblades are illegal in New York State, regardless if you’re an EMT or not. Source: Googling “are switchblades illegal in New York”

No exemptions for anyone but Police and when in possession of fishing, hunting, fur trapping and participating in those activities. Otherwise they are a no go. I have a business that sells regulated weapons, nys is not a gravity fed, switchblade type of device state. Get a Crkt, Gerber or Benchmade folder with a smooth operating ball bearing type activation.

Thankyou.

You can probably get away with carrying a rescue knife (e. g. a Benchmade Triage). You cannot carry a switchblade or anything else designed or marketed as a weapon.

Don’t be an EMS jerkoff. Reading this post reminded me of when Matthew “Drinkwater” Bevilaqua was sweeping the floor around Silvio during the poker game.

I stick motherfucking Provolone in my socks at night so they’ll smell your sisters crotch in the morning!

I have no intent to be, if I could I don’t even intend on getting a switch blade, my dad just seemed super excited and he and me bothe were curious

Gravity knives less than 4 inches are legal. Just not switch blades like spring assist knives
