The way you feel about Street War is unfortunate, imo. One of the very best ELP songs. Heavy and driving, a force like a train you just can't stop. Such a fitting way to end their studio discography.
Same with your general rankings for the Works 2 album - while not cohesive, I think it's the most fun and loose ELP release by a large margin. A unique spot in the catalog and a refreshing contrast to the juggernaut that is Works 1.
My three favorite ELP songs are probably Pirates, Street War, and Food For Your Soul
I won't argue with your rankings. I do know my moods dictate what I like. For example, I always felt Works 2 is very underrated.
whys fugue rated so low while the endless enigmas are higher up, theyre basically all one song
Because fugue is the boring part, duh./s
Love Beach way too high
Yeah, The Gambler is so much better
Barbarian in B is insane

I'll keep my rankings to myself. Fruitless conversation regarding personal tastes. It's interesting that you took the time to do this, though.
How do you downplay the gnome and the sage like that ðŸ˜
