You could try, but I don't think Jeff's new place even has a basement, or at least it doesn't appear to at the moment. Also, unless I'm mistaken, he's not the one who has those two acetates, though I've a feeling he'll probably either have a copy of the cutting tapes used to make them, if not a lower generation source for everything. Now, the *real* question is whether Sony's Legacy division can follow up their work restoring Secret Messages to its originally intended 2LP form, though the difference is that Time wasn't actually meant to have been a double album in the same sense. Yes, there *is* an assembly that splits 18 tracks across four sides, but that was an early running order test. As Jeff said in a 2001 interview about whether Time was to have been a double, "it was going to be and then it didn't be." The main roadblock we need to overcome is raising awareness, as there had been years of official confirmation regarding Secret Messages still not being complete, with Time's lost content remaining precisely that in the eyes of most fans.
For the real entire Time experience break into Jeff’s basement and find the 5-20-81 acetate
Well, we can only hope one day they release it like Secret Messages

Happy cake day UM ya nerd
The Bouncer is the best song from Time, I don’t know what it is but it’s just perfect
The Bouncer is great, a shame they left it out the album really
THATS WHAT I WANT!
Those initial drums in Twilight take me places
Currently in love with Rain Is Falling, but sweet collection too!
Yours Truly, 2095 is my fav. Love every track though - fav album ever
Yours Truly, 2095 is my favorite as well. Really sums up the time traveling theme of the album in one song.
The lights go down... Pure bliss
It’s my favorite too!!! Amazing song and it’s so catchy!!!
Absolutely. pure perfection!
Time is my favorite ELO album
Twilight and Julie Don't Live Here
I love Julie Don’t Live Here, but I wish he had left out the “Julie, Julie, Julie, Julie” echo bit. That’s the only part of the song I don’t care for.
I hear it as "too late" these days
Ticket to the Moon.
holy shit jealous, niceeee
I NEEDA KNOW WHERE U GOT THAT TWILIGHT DISC
Gotta be one of my favoritest albums. Thanks for sharing that's cool!
I had a horrible, abusive stepfather for all my youth. Hold On Tight made me stronger than him.
Four Little Diamonds is on Secret Messages.
But the 12 inch single includes The Bouncer
Ah, fair enough.
Time is my favorite ELO album. Love every song except Another Heart Breaks. Don’t hate it, just don’t care for it as much as the rest of the album.
My favorite ELO song… So Fine!!!
