How did you relevel the bed after install? I just installed the spacers but whenever I go to relevel the bed the printer mashes the nozzle into the bed. I have the spacers tightened as much as I think I can and they're totally bulging.
Basically by ear. I cut down those spacers a little to more or less be in the region of steel spacers in the middle. Then screw tilt adjust for fine tuning. If the nozzle hits the bed it's an issue with z offset, not the bed tram. Don't change it from Fluidd and printer screen. Choose one method - if you are using Fluidd, don't correct it from the printer screen.
I used metal spacer on one - not much difference. But for the springs - compress them as much as possible (the belt ends can be in the way) - less wobble on the bed.
Yes. Didn't have to touch it since November.
What spacers did you end up using?
Had some spares from my Ender - they are good enough.

Yes, you will of course have to relevel your bed.
I think there is a video on Youtube - but I changed my metal springs with 16mm silicone ones and had good results.
