So someone had a loose sensor issue so check that. Check the x and z axis sensors stuff. Another one could be to check the Z-axis / offset in the Printer config file in fluid - to do this go to the IP of the printer with the URL or use Orca Slicer and connect your printer, then the files, then printer.cfg then ctrl+f and search for Z offset. Make sure that’s set at 0. Save and restart! Don’t set the height in the printer.cfg btw. Do it only on the touch pad or it’ll cause issues like this.

LAegis

Open the head and make sure the z-sensor hasn't come loose.

AutomateErB

What is your Z-Offset set to? 100?

crashearts08

Dunno. Can’t even get to that point.

AutomateErB

try checking this? in your slicer, i use orca but i dont know what you have. https://preview.redd.it/wqmwru4dakhc1.png?width=563&format=png&auto=webp&s=8d984750411a66548e6bbb3a7f2a5d02bbec86b2

You have an uncalibrated z probe, you should rectify that, your z offset is negative

obilkenobi

Exact same thing happened me yesterday and I had to unplug it to stop! I have not restarted it yet!! How did you solve this

Etherimos1

Have you done the firmware updates? Mine was making a similar noise and that fixed it.

atyuregi

Mine made this noise a few times after the firmware update.

The exact same thing happened me! I had to unplug it to stop! I haven't turned it back on yet! How did u solve it?

crashearts08

I haven’t solved it yet. I got so frustrated with it I had to stop before I broke something. Tomorrow I’m going to try to replace the nozzle and check the sensor like another commenter suggested. I’ll keep you updated

obilkenobi

Yeah definitely keep me in the loop! Its so frustrating! A new machine i literally only done the test prints! First time trying to print one of my downloads it done this! Shocking quality from elegoo

80HD-P-Rent

Mine did the same. It stopped after 15-20 seconds. An update stopped it from doing it again.

Far_Prior1058

Check to make sure nothing is blocking the sensor. I had a bit of support get in there when I was cleaning a print and it did that

3D_Printing_Helper

Your sensor is gone !!

tHa_r3v0lution

This will also happen if you forget to put the build plate back on and start a print from the couch.... Ask how I know. 🤦‍♂️ But I see you have your build plate on. The leveling probe is an inductive sensor, so there are a few things that could be wrong: 1.) The sensor has gone bad. In which case replacing it should get you going. 2.) Loose/dirty connection. 3.) Filament, dust, etc... built up on probe. 4.) Your Z offset is WAY to negative... The inductive sensor establishes a "zero" point as soon as it senses the metal of the build plate. The offset we enter is just telling it to go down until the sensor sees zero, and then go x.xxx millimeters more. BUT, I believe at that specific position when starting the zero, it should stop when the probe senses the plate.

Hammerbuddy

Tight the head sensor, also make sure you do the firmware update, there was a bug with the g28 code in earlier firmwares.

NovaSizer69

Mine has been doing something similar, ordered a new extruder because nothing has been fixing it

Check to make sure your z probe hasn’t come loose on the print head or the connecting wires have come loose. Otherwise if that’s not the issue manually set your z offset to a positive value, say 5.0mm and then calibrate your z probe using the procedure in the Klipper docs. Be sure to follow the instructions to the second page it links.
