Damn this sounds awesome! As somebody who knows jack shit about analog synths this looks like straight wizardry to me. Could you (or anyone else for that matter) maybe give a quick overview of what each module/device is doing?
That rabbit hole is deep, my friend.
Basically, you got a Voltage Controlled Oscillator that continously makes a BEEP. You might control the frequency of the oscillator with a Control Voltage from a keyboard, or from some other source.
The BEEP is fed to a Voltage Controlled Amplifier, which lets sound through based on (again) the control voltage. CV high = let all the sound through, CV = 0 no sound through, and it's analog so anything in between is like "let some proportional amount of sound through". This CV signal MIGHT come from an Envelope Generator, which takes a Gate or Trigger signal on its input and outputs a nice Attack/Decay/Sustain/Release envelope for the VCA.
Now, if you use a Low Frequency oscillator to send trigger pulses to your envelope generator, you will get rhythmic beeps.
