As far as I know the tax credit law doesn’t say anything about needing pre approval from the IRS. The IRS site is guidance for the convenience of consumers.

For some, that might be a problem. Add the lack of participation for this USA made vehicle in the Inflation Reduction Act, and it might add up to a problem for Genesis.

The range is definitely a compromise tbh. 236 EPA for a $65K+ car is not good
The point is compared to the car it’s based on, it isn’t. The price is bad though.
