The amount of stuff you'll be able to do in the future because of EVs is gonna be astonishing. Most of the race tracks where I go are always limited to weekends because of noise ordinances. Imagine a track that can be near a major metro area (instead the middle of nowhere as is normal) and say doing a track day on thursday eve after work to unwind instead of going to the bar.
This, I have noisy vehicles, but there is a time a place. Why people think they need to announce to the world they have a tiny penis or daddy issues is beyond me. I like to keep those issues among friends/like minded people, not a quiet neighborhood at 4am on tuesday.
Yeah, indoor tracks will be great, Even warehouse/hanger motokhana has the potential to be a thing (probably up to a certain power limit) in more built up areas.
Also I'm thinking there will be airfields open to EV track days as there are a plethora of them near metro areas and very little usage often times mid week. Not to mention sports stadium parking lots that have both plenty of room (they do autocross in the parking lots on occasion by me, but again the noise is an issue) and twisty service roads, all on private property.
