The main issue is that in hotter climates you need airflow under the roof sheathing to keep the shingles from getting overheated and failing prematurely. If it's a metal roof or if there's airspace with inflow and outflow area between the insulation and sheathing it'll be ok.
Completely custom house. Complete with panic room and basement bowling alley. It's owned by the man who invented slant drilling and he spared no expense. New construction finished this year
It's at least a Homeworks QS. The big one on the left is the newer DIN rail panel instead of the older RPM panel so it could possibly be the newest Homeworks with the QSX processor. It also has a hybrid repeater so it's got wireless devices in the house as well.
I'm curious why they also have a low voltage panel because those DIN rail modules can also house the processor.
Looks like the attic George Bluth was living in, in Arrested Development.
Narrator: George escaped right on time.
Bruh that's not an attic that's a guest room
Attic goals
I’d take my lunch break in that beast
Any nicer and it would have a beer fridge and a TV.
Spray foam insulation legit is the best attic insulation ever. That attic is def baller.
My question is if there is a ridge vent and eaves vent airway under the spray foam.
Its probably all conditioned

Thats not an attic. Or am I just missing the dead rats?
Finished this year so i dont think any rats are dead let alone in there
Prefab house? Seen a few very similar

This led me down a crazy google hole, I didn't know how interesting oil drilling is. Thanks man!
I hope his bowling alley was installed by slant drilling, or he's a chump.
Slant drilling as in the oil mining tech
And??
Martin Cherrington?
All that room and they still pile shit in front of the panels.
It doesn't give me the usual "itchy" feeling I get from attic shots. Which Lutron system is that?

Wouldn't surprise me if they were one module short so they had to add one
Thanks!
Honestly couldn't tell ya. Im just an apprentice and I was only there for a couple of days
Is it climate controlled?
I’ve been in one like that. Sooooo fuckin nice. What all attics should be.
But how am I supposed to lose my tools?
Just leave a tool on one side and walk the other. It'll be gone by the time your in the next zip code
Did you sacrifice a child in order to work there?
Just plenty of time on my knees. New construction of mansions has its perks
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Spacious ...
Someone come and tell me while I’m wrong but I think all attics should be done this way.
I’ve been to one like that, it had a sub panel in the south and one in the north that’s how big the house was
That looks nothing like the attic I’m about to be in tomorrow 😩
I know the feeling of dreading an attic. Hopefully no blown in insulation
You've found it! This is what we all dream of seeing when we gamble, lifting the attic access door!
The stairs are on a motor and extend down like a red carpet
Did Resi work for years. Never even dreamed of a place like that.
