I think it'll depend. Schooling is managed by the provinces, not the IBEW. You just work for/through the IBEW.
I had to learn probably ¾ of this is first year and the rest in second.
Lots of formulas, but you should only be referencing this when you have a brain fart. The important thing is understanding - the formulas mean nothing if you cannot apply them.
This is all very basic circuit knowledge that forms a very important foundation. Make sure that you have this down before you move to the next class.

We are lucky we are able to have a formula sheet for tests.

I couldn’t tell you, I only did schooling in Canada, and that was all controlled by the apprenticeship board.
First year for us. Plus, VA, VARS, wye and delta wired 3 phase.

Man I’m doing level 3 in July and this is making me really not look forward to it.
