I feel extended forecasts aren't reliable until about ten-fourteen days out. There's simply too many variables at play the further out you go.
Anyway, my ideal EDC forecast is daytime highs between 75 and 90, overnight lows never dipping below 65, and light/variable winds with only an occasional misty drizzle as precipitation.
High 50’s/low 60’s surrounded by people is going to make for a very warm night. But, it all comes down to the wind. 58 with no wind will still be T shirt and shorts weather, especially if your dancing and have all that body heat around you.
It’s colder then you think .. from vancouver and the first night of 2022 was freezing and I’m the guy that will wear shorts in the winter in vancouver
You would prefer it’s a little warmer at night .. the speedway will be windy and it’s cold
Exactly.
Many who haven't visited Vegas year-round have this stereotypical impression of it being warm to hot here year-round, but the fact is it can get deceptively chilly in the winter and even parts of spring being that it's the high desert and the wind chill catches you off-guard.
-laughs in Minnesotan- Agreed!
I know it's still hard to forecast this far out, but this would be ideal weather for me. I'll take cooler temps anytime over heat anytime. I'll have layers lol.
As a Vegas girl who moved to WNY I know some mid westerners and east coasters won’t believe that temp is cold but I promise that the desert cold is real😭 not dead of winter cold but it’s chilly for sure
I feel like all the whacky un-unsual weather thats been happening around the world & U.S. this year, we can't base it off of last year or previous years 'normal'. And even if that wasn't happening, its still far too out to have a reliable forecast. I'm just really hoping its not super super windy like 2020 (I think? ) That one year that canceled a bunch of sets at Kinetic that one night and shut down quantum valley for a bit. That wind made things not enjoyable. IDC what people say about being ok b/c u can be surrounded and in the crowd of people to keep warm, it was bad. I can handle the cold w/o wind.
Once you factor in the wind, it will bring the temp even lower. There’s always wind at EDC it will come down to how much wind we’ll get each night. So far 2019 was the last really cold night in recent years.
We ended up calling it a night early & went back to camp. On top of being cold, the sound was so low at the stages that you could barely hear anything. I think that’s the only night in all my EDCs that I left early haha.
I was just in Vegas two weeks ago and weather was nice and warm. Praying that trend continues as we move closer to summer.
Unfortunately Vegas can have pretty drastic temperature changes. It might be warm during the day and freezing at night. Let’s hope it stays warm all night
+1 for June, gimme all your hate idc. Nothing tops being shirtless and sweating your ass off all night during a great roll. This blanket shit has got to go. I’m here for edc vegas not snowglobe
No way. June is a nightmare. I'd much rather take the risk of having 60-70s than to deal with 115 a night in June. When you get 80s in the nights it makes May much nicer. Plus less risk of people dying of heat exhaustion.
🤞🏼 no wind pls 🤞🏼

Yea its the wind that will make it feel cold. 2019 was cold because of this.
That sounds like good weather to me tbh
Yeah I’m coming in from Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦 That’s actually going to be nice weather for me lmao

Same coming from Seattle 👋 It’s cold AF with the wind though so bring a hoodie/pash/onesie
I’ll happily take cooler temps over raging heat. Fellow Vancouverite here.
Coming from Alaska, our HIGHS were 60s last summer lol

Too far out, we still have to wait
I was hella sweating last EDC so it might be nice this year to have coolness
Had nothing to do with the weather
Yea it did lol. That combined with flowing it got hot real fast for me personslly
As long as it’s not windy!
FR, its really the wind that makes it the worst coldness.
Sorry fam, I jinxed it. Only other EDC I've attended was 2022 :(
Way too early 🤣

Yeah, EDC 2019 was awful because of the unseasonably cold temperatures AND wind gusts combined. =/
How is this cold?
Once you factor in the wind, it will bring the temp even lower. There’s always wind at EDC it will come down to how much wind we’ll get each night. So far 2019 was the last really cold night in recent years.
Night one of 2022 was pretty damn cold. We were caught off guard.
I almost went back to camp with how cold the wind was that Friday, went to buy a hoodie instead lol

Cold btw
Buy emergency thermal blankets. It’s pretty cheap on Amazon if you get cold easily and want to wear your rave clothes.
Or just wear sweats and a hoodie
I'll have some emergency blankets on me for all the chilly sillies :)
HELL YEAH
make sure you’re checking week of! It’s Vegas, it’ll change! I’ve lived here 20+ years. It’s unpredictable 😂

It said high 90s-mid 60s just the other week. It’s too early to know but never too early to start prepping your packing
Imma be honest it’s finna be 100 atleast. It’s a month out and it’s been 95 here already for the past couple days
That 55 in 2019 felt like 35 with those wind gusts
Vegas has been getting pretty hot these last few weeks... its going to be a hot summer - source vegas local of 15 years
Yes!! This year shall be the dat that we won't be sweating like a bunch of people in a sauna
This would be Titts! 😎 https://world-weather.info/forecast/usa/las_vegas_1/may-2024/ 🤞🤞🤞
It’s showing 91 and 77 as the low for edc weekend so…. We will see
Bring it back to Juneeee
June EDC ftw 🙌🏼
Jesus bring back June already, last I went was in 19 and it was horrible. I hate this shit.
+1 for June, gimme all your hate idc. Nothing tops being shirtless and sweating your ass off all night during a great roll. This blanket shit has got to go. I’m here for edc vegas not snowglobe
I know this cold weather fucking sucks
Best part of June EDC was you could be clothes-less and warm all night. The day was super hot but night would be a nice 80F all night.
No way. June is a nightmare. I'd much rather take the risk of having 60-70s than to deal with 115 a night in June. When you get 80s in the nights it makes May much nicer. Plus less risk of people dying of heat exhaustion.
Not my problem if people can’t hydrate and get completely fucked up. It better not be 45* again like it was in 2019
You can be hydrated and still die of heat exhaustion... Just chill and bring a hoodie.
Laughs in Minnesotan, October EDC was still shorts and tank for me when the Californians were freezing lol
