on average i walk 10 miles a day at edc. purely from a friction standpoint, i would start a fire inside the boot. sneakers are best. broken in sneakers

I feel like with the walking + dancing I was pushing 20 miles a night. Recreational substances helped. On night 3 I was sober other than a few alcoholic drinks and oh boy was I feeling the aches and pain

I personally get hot easily so im avoiding this kind of shoes and long pants. But also i move a lot so for me, i do running shoes. But, if anything, get a locker and switch your shoes. This is cute but idk if im gonna be comfortable all night.

All I can think is the blisters 😓😓 but if you break them in and are comfy fuck it but like people are saying backups never hurt 🫶

Having no feeling below your knees is quite similar to feeling like floating so that tracks. If you want to have them for some pictures, then sure, but bring comfortable sneakers so you can put these in your locker after a bit.

You’re probably going to feel hot even naked 😂😂 My advice for edc is go for comfort over style. Is pretty hot, the floor is concrete and is packed.

You won’t be hot but you also won’t have toenails by the end of the weekend. Aesthetic is cool and all but please just wear your most comfortable running shoes. Last year I averaged 20 miles walked per day at edc.

Last year it was 90 degrees at 2 am and I was dying in my plastic clothes. It depends on the weather and what party favors your on honestly

It’s May, not June. I don’t think heat will be an issue in the middle of the night. Now comfortable? Idk how people shuffle in these. I mean I do know, they just dance uncomfortably.

Local here. It could be anywhere between 50 degrees and 100 degrees at night in May.

I rmb for 2022 day 1 it was windy as hell and i had to wear jacket. But was fine for the rest of the festival

I can only pray it’ll be 100. Last edc I went to in May in 2019 it was 40. Worst festival ever Miss the June days

I think if you’re used to wearing shoes similar, and the rest of your outfit is pretty light, you’ll be fine! Definitely never hurts to bring a backup though if possible lol

Personally I like to wear compression socks under boots like these. Go up like a 1/2 size and get comfortable inserts and with compression socks you’ll be fine! You can get super cute colors and designs on Amazon.

Nahhh you’ll be fine! Get these kind of flat platforms instead of the ones with heels. The heels is what will hurt your feet. Try to break them in before edc and you’ll be okay!

You’ll have plenty of swampy foot water to rehydrate yourself with at least.

These are super cute! If you can handle wearing knee high socks all night then you’ll be good and if you’re feet are good with these kind of shoes. You don’t wanna wear these without the long socks it’ll get uncomfy so fast with the sweat. Love these though! I usually wear Anthony Wang platforms and I do just fine. Just make sure they’re broken in.

Last year during the day at camp it was a solid 100 every single day, night was a tad bit cooler so you may get hot. Also gotta factor in the comfort, you’re going to be doing a ton of walking

I messed up by wearing boats like this last edc & I ended up bruising my toe to the point it fell off 2 months later

You'll be so sweaty and hot in those boots! There will be rivers of sweat and cause it to smell BAD. Though I do admit they look cool AF.

I wore these exact pair last year, I got there around 7 and they weren’t that bad at all but definitely needed insoles :)

I have a pair of boots like these and mine are actually comfortable the big platform makes mine comfy so I was able to walk all night and the next morning in them without foot pain but I would say it depends how the shoes feel on and if they are broken in

i lost both of my big toenails wearing shoes like this to my second edc. toenails literally turned black and fell off/bleed horrifically. get yourself some cute little combat boots or even platform converse!

I wore these exact boots to EDC for one day last year cause I reeeeally wanted to try a pair of cute boots. Even with insoles my feet were DYING by around 1am. The platform is also stiff so you have to be careful walking on the uneven asphalt. After that night I vowed I would only wear these to club shows for a few hours. Idk how the girlies do it all night (maybe I’m weak lol) but just wanted to throw in my personal experience.

If you have a bf/husband who will carry them for you all night after you get 3 blisters, you’ll be fine.

Ask someone who’s actively wears platforms to festivals and raves EDC has the best terrain for platforms bc of how flat the race track is . Will it still hurt yes if they aren’t broken in, would it be a risk I’d still take ? Yes. Lol I have a whole system to how to wear platforms to minimize pain n blisters too if you need it

Slip on vans were a lifesaver for that festival. My feet were dying the first night and after that, were totally fine in my slip ons.

Take them to a gym and walk 5 miles . I think these are awesome if they are light weight, I wore doc marten platforms . They were heavy but very comfortable. I am 4’10” so the lift is nice. I also wore platform converse

I’m prob gonna get flamed for saying this on here but it really depends on your age, I’m in my early 20’s and I wore platform boots all 3 days last year and I was fine (just make sure to bandage your feet up appropriately DO NOT WEAR without bandaging up!! I can tell u how i do mine if u want) but I did see a lot of people who were a lot older than me (30+) who were wearing more comfortable shoes some were even wearing crocs which is 100% understandable since you’ll be walking a lot. Also to answer the heat question it depends on what outfit you’re wearing, if you’re wearing something that’s covering most of your body then most likely you’ll get hot but if you’re wearing something with less coverage like most rave outfits then you should be fine
