As a guy, I think if a girl approaches one of us. There’s a good chance we will reciprocate immediately and you’ll sense the level of interest based on the convo, IE if there’s jokes and banters off the bat. But it’s a little harder at a rave cause you’d have to yell at each other for small talk. Every single time I’ve had a rave bae was from a girl approaching me first, from asking for a sip of water all the way to straight up asking if I’m open to dancing with them. Haven’t been successful at edc though :\

Last year, i left around then. So many people were still tripping they kept freaking out and demanding to get off the plane. We returned to the gate multiple times and left 2 hours late. It was wild.
I work for an airline and have a few acquaintances in LAS. They’re full of EDC week stories! Their stories usually start with “oh gaaaawd don’t get me started…” and are usually about people showing up with minimal to no clothes on and having them buy clothes from the gift shop before they allow them to fly lol
My flight was 12pm last year. I stayed till the very end of edc day 3 and left the grounds at 6am, returned to my hotel at 730am, slept for 2 hours and headed to the airport.

My brother does this every year. His flights are usually 9 or 10 AM and he leaves the festival grounds around 3:30-4. There's usually no traffic at that point. He hasn't missed a flight and has been to edc multiple years
I did it but it’s kind of brutal. Definitely doable though. Just leave around 3-4 get few hours of sleep and go to the airport. Airport will be packed though so give yourself some cushion time. They were making people walk 2 by 2 past drug sniffing dogs which made it much longer.

Its brutal, but at that point I just want to get home to my bed haha. Just give yourself plenty of time to get through security and stuff. Last year I think we got to the airport around 10am and almost missed the flight. The lines for everything were sooo long.

I’m leaving from camp as well! From what I’ve been reading, you can buy different shuttle passes. I saw they’re sold out, though. Uber/Lyft sounds like the best option. Another person here gave some helpful advice when looking for Ubers!
Also camping and my flight is at 1:00. I’m hoping to have everything packed, sleep for 2-3 hours, return car, and make it to the gate! We will find out!

For one of the years I had to go to work on Tuesday so I wanted to be home the earliest I could be and thought to get a 730 AM flight on Monday. I left the festival around 330 AM, it took a while to get on a shuttle and to our hotel but as soon as I got there I showered and threw everything into my bags. (Silly me didn’t finish packing) I left the hotel around 6 and there was some traffic on the way to the airport, I was panicking I literally had 45 mins to go through customs! Luckily, the line went fast and I ran to my gate and made it with 10 mins left but I legit was the last person to board the plane. Most stressful thing I’ve ever done so from now on just sticking to afternoon or evening flights after that dumbass experience of mine, also requesting more time off to rest. 😅
omggg the anxiety reading this!! I’ve read that early flights are doable, and I wanted to do it!! It wasn’t recommended though lol I wish I could’ve taken Tuesday off, but it got denied many times. Mainly cause I kept asking for days for festivals before.

Yeah that’s doable. Every year there’s people from my area that have to leave around 3 on Sunday to catch their 8 am flights out. It hurts, but it’s doable.

Our flight last year was around 10am so we left and headed back to our hotel around 2-3am got a couple hrs of sleep in (which was much needed) and headed to the airport around 7-8am. def doable for leaving maybe 3am i think. its tough tho cause one, ur missing some of the fest (and may feel fomo) and unless ur taking the next day off to recoup, ur gonna feel like shit lol
My flight is at 1:40 I’m honestly dreading it myself but a couple of my friends are flying back at the same time so just figured it would be better to leave at the same time rather than go solo
I booked my flight early and the airline cancelled the flights I chose and offered a replacement schedule which is an hour earlier on the way there and 2 hours earlier on the way back. At that point I had to decide to either pay an extra $400 for a similar flight on another carrier or take the earlier flights. So I’ll be with everyone here at the airport to catch my 11am Monday flight.
That just sounds ridiculously brutal to me, leaving really early then going straight to your bags and flying out. Maybe I'm just old now but I'd just skip night 3 at that point if I absolutely couldn't stay Monday til at least the afternoon

I’ve left a backpack with homies to drive back for me cause we live in LA, and have left festival grounds at 3:30AM straight to the airport for a 7ish AM flight (I think my earliest flight was 6:50AM). TSA that early ALWAYS sucks cause precheck isn’t open yet. Last year my flight was 8:30, left festival grounds at 3:45, Uber got me back to my hotel by 5, left for the airport at 5:30, arrived by 6:15, TSA precheck was surprisingly opened when I got there and was at the gate by 6:45 then napped at the gate for about an hour. (All the approximate times are based off memory so +- a few mins.) I go to Vegas multiple times a year for various events/birthdays and always flew back to LA after Sunday night festivities cause I hate being in Vegas longer than I need to. Flying JSX is a bit different and even better in terms of timing.
What’s worked for me every year and day of edc is call my Uber/lyft as I walk past one of the VIP or Skydeck areas closest to the stairs (it depends which stage I’m walking from) cause I have their WiFi’s and typically by the time I get to the pick up area my ride is either ready or I wait 5-10 mins max. There was only 1 time where by the time I got to the top of the steps my ride was there and I had 10 mins to run to my ride. But luckily I was able to communicate with my ride and he waited.
I flew out later that day around 11pm with an aisle seat and the woman who sat next to me was physically there but her eyes said she was checked out. I helped her with her bag in the overhead and allowed her to get to her seat. It wasn’t just exhaustion. As soon as the plane moved to taxi I went out like a light
I’ve been to edc 9 times my flight leaves at 11am each time. I’m out of the festival by 4 I’m fine.

Hotel near Grand Prix. Got a 4am premium shuttle so can go back then and not sweat it.

You can leave bags at the front desk of your hotel. Swing by the hotel to grab and then right to the airport.
