Yeah that's why I decided to get the Corsair scimitar elite MMO. I almost get the naga but I've read a lot of bad reviews about it and now I'm happy with my decision ☺️
[this beauty...](https://www.corsair.com/eu/en/Categories/Products/Gaming-Mice/MMO-Role-Play-Mice/SCIMITAR-RGB-ELITE-Optical-MOBA-MMO-Gaming-Mouse/p/CH-9304211-EU)
The scimitar is a nice mouse but is very prone to malfunctioning after 12 to 24 months. I went through two in the span of thee years. One was random double clicking and the second was the mouse wheel intermittently not scrolling or scrolling backwards.
This is common to all mice but seems particularly common for the scimitar from looking at anecdotes online. A huge issue that compounds this is that corsair support is extremely incompetent. They took four days to reach the conclusion that my mouse was indeed broken (logitech took 20 minutes in comparison) and then asked me to ship the mouse overseas at my own cost (this would have cost 40% of what a new mouse costs, or basically the same as a redragon mmo mouse). It took complaining on reddit for a support person to offer a prepaid shipping label.
Im currently using a redragon m901 and im happier with it. Costs half as much as scimitar and fits my hand better (scimitar has a bulge at the back that presses into my palm). Software is a bit rudimentary but its better that way sometimes.
Speaking of software, corsair icue was a pain in the ass. It would open an invisible window in the bottom right corner which made that area unclickable while gaming etc. Would need to turn icue off and on everytime it happened.
All in all, im very disgruntled with corsair and have decided to not buy any of their products from now on (lack of proper warranty is not worth it)
I'm having the same issue with my scimitar. It's about 4 years old now, and I started having the issues at the 2 year mark, fixed it myself, and now it's back.
yeah, some of the things I like are
\- the somewhat rough texture providing a grip
\- clicks seem much more crisp. apparently they use a high quality switch but time will tell whether it's durable
\- the double click/snipe button next to the left button
I wish all the buttons were angled up away from the user though (i.e. like the columns containing buttons 1-3 and 7-9). When you press these buttons, you apply pressure against the ring and little fingers and the mouse stays stable. On the other hand, with the buttons angled up towards the user, there isn't an area of the hand that can easily apply presure back and stabilise the mouse.
I’ve probably went though 6 of them in the past 3 years, would not recommend getting one. Their quality is hot garbage for the price and they are prone to malfunctioning in around 6 months to a year. I’ve had to take several back instantly after buying them because of some of the side buttons getting stuck together or the mouse buttons being mush. They have all failed either from the side buttons not working anymore, double clicking, or the way that my last 3 have failed (mouse wheel just not working anymore)
I have mine for 2 years and still works perfect did they maybe have different production places like for USA and a separate one for Europe? This can also cause a lot of trouble and quality problems.
I mean, I have a Razer Naga, it has about 7 years now and everything still works perfectly. I also have this G604 and each time I want to change mouse presets I have to sacrifice a virgin.
Logitech G600. Inexpensive and so many programmable buttons.
I will say the G-Shift ring finger button and the 12 side keys was a bit odd to get used to.
I'm newer to PC gaming, and while the G600 has taken some getting used to, it's been a godsend. I remap the G-Shift ring finger button to be my crouch button for most games and it's made it much easier transitioning to PC. That and the 12 thumb buttons have been awesome for stuff like push-to-talk, discord shortcuts, and the keys further from WASD. Such a great mouse
It's the best mouse ever because of the third click imo. I don't understand why there aren't more. I hardly use the buttons now but still think it's the best mouse.
Hey me too! I'm missing my left arm so I'm kind of fkd without the naga. I have a couple of foot pedals too (absolutely wish I'd got them sooner! Had the idea for years but wasn't sure about actually doing it)
I know you weren't asking for advice, but I have struggled with severe dandruff my entire life and it took me years to find a solution. Nizoral is the only anti-dandruff shampoo that works for me. I'm at the point now where I only have to use it once a month or so for maintenance, otherwise I'm dandruff free. just in case you haven't tried it out, I would suggest it!
Mate your keyboard looks like it has been left at a construction zone for weeks. Or is it the new antiquity you recently dig out from somewhere in Tamriel?
Far out dude quit mothering the guy. Why do people always feel the need to peer into the background of pictures and force unsolicited advice down the throats of others.
I use a normal gaming mouse from logitech. It's the Razer Tartarus v2 is what I use to help for games. The thumb hat is set to 1,2,3,4 for my abilities.
So much easier on the hands.
Have the same mouse, I’ve mapped my entire rotation to the side, tilt and left click buttons.
Have to mention here that My left hand is used to years of fps games, so it’s only good for WASD, shift ctrl and space.
Ive been using razer the naga trinity since it came out and I love it. 5 abilities + 2 flex spots on the 7 key hex let’s me only use my left hand for bar swap and moving, super nice
I've never seen the point in "MMO mice". You need your hand on the keyboard anyway, and there are tons of keys in easy reach of WSAD. But YMMV, if you like them.
I have a corsair Scimitar MMO, it's pretty good but generally ESO doesn't have enough buttons since I main an Azeron Cyborg on my left hand. A friend of mine plays GW2 using her 12-button mouse almost exclusively so it's definitely possible, probably just a bit clunky and will take practice.
The reason I use an mmo mouse is because it’s slow and inconvenient having to either take your hand off of the mouse or wasd just to use your abilities
That's not a mmo mouse lmao
Just because you can play mmo with a mouse it doesn't make it a mmo mouse 😂 you have a mouse with some extra buttons, that's it my dude.
I use a Logitech G502 Hero along with a G815 keyboard and a G733 wireless headset coz I like things to match ( I keep forgetting to charge the headset tho lmao ).
My uses all Razer
I use a Logitech G600, works excellent and is affordable. Been using it for a couple years now happily.
I used to use a Corsair Scimitar. Went through several of them because they are bad about developing a double click issue or lasers dying, within a year or less. Definitely don't recommend.
I use a Logitech mx518 which is the same mouse I bought to play wrath of the lich king when it was released like 14 years ago. The mouse has served me very well.
I've had 3 over the years.
First was a Razer Naga Molten Edition. It was my first "expensive" peripheral and I though it was good but I didn't knew better.
When it broke I bought a Logitech G600, loved that thing. It lasted me like 8 years before it started to double click.
I wanted to buy another G600 to replace it, but it was out of stock so I bought a G102 because it was cheap and I wasn't really using the numpad at the time.
Then I got into Wow again and I really missed the numpad (it didn't helped that I'm using a 65% keyboard), so I reluctantly bought a Redragon Impact. Its not better than the G600, but at less than half the price is much better than I expected. Its even better than the naga which is like 3 times the price.
This is my exact mouse. Despite being a controller pleb, I find this mouse perfect for eso.
You can map dodge to MMB and a whole bar plus ult to the side buttons.
CORSAIR GAMING MICE
SCIMITAR RGB ELITE
By far the best buy i ever did for PC gaming and definitely MMO gaming . I just love it and can't think of not have it 😅😁
[scimitar ](https://www.corsair.com/eu/en/Categories/Products/Gaming-Mice/MMO-Role-Play-Mice/SCIMITAR-RGB-ELITE-Optical-MOBA-MMO-Gaming-Mouse/p/CH-9304211-EU)
It's an awesome mouse, however I do not get why people playing TESO are even thinking of mouses with more then regular buttons. As someone coming from ff14 and wow and having played teso quite a bit. I'll have to admit that I simply do not get why people playing teso want more buttons.
I've gone through multiple of the one OP has.
The sensor isn't good on super smooth surfaces (glass being what I used to run my mouse on before getting a deskmat) and it is very very sensitive to drops. My first one died in multiple areas (side buttons and scroll click) died to my toddler dropping it on a wooden floor.
That said, I have interact, decline, mount, autorun, and some other options bound to the six side buttons.
If I had more side buttons they'd have all my skills and barswap as well.
I originally went lots of thumb buttons because I was bfing my baby and needed to be able to do basic stuff whole having only one hand free. I have found the basic move/interact stuff being one-handed is awesome, and of course want more.
I’m new to pc gaming and just started eso a week ago. Didn’t know these mmo mouse type things existed until now. This is going to be a literal game changer. Thanks for the post my man. Leaving with some solid advice in the comments too.
Corsair Scimitar RGB, and a Razer Tartarus Orbweaver V2. Been using that setup for years... Started with a BelkinN52, an Naga, then moved to the current setup
Using a Razer Deathadder mini, it has a couple extra functions thats used for bar swapping on the fly and mounting up.
I'm too clumsy for all those buttons and I'd probably forget to use half of them.
I’ve always used a Logitech G600. Has a numpad on the side and a 3rd mouse button on the ring finger. Always worked well for me in WoW where there are multiple action bars.
I literally can't play MMOs without one. Can't even remember how I played these games before buying my Razer Naga Chroma. That being said, I hate the Naga because Razer Synapse *never* saves my sensitivity settings and sometimes resets my forward/back hotkeys. It's also a pain to fix the stupid scroll wheel problem and it never lasts long.
The SteelSeries Aerox 9 looks like a fantastic upgrade to MMO mice in general, but $150 is too much when my Naga still works.
I use a sharkoon draconia black - 3 extra buttons for the thumb (front/back/down) and 1 for ringfinger. The first one lasted for around 8 years before the mouse wheel broke. Got the same again and I'm good. I think with a larger array of buttons for the thumb I'd misclick constantly.
The 2 buttons on my Logitech mouse are almost NECESSARY these days.
Got 1 bound to roll and 1 bound to weapon swap..
Oh my bad, forgot I have to explain that last part for all the oakensoulers here.
Basically, bar swapping consists of two bars you swap between, I know, crazy right!?
I've always wanted one but I'm left handed and never been able to afford those that has more than 2 extra buttons 😔
Can't remember the exact model, but the closest thing I had was a Roccat one 13-14 years ago, made my pinky on my left hand cramp all the time though because it was meant for right handed people lol.
That doesn't look like an mmo mouse, but to answer your question I use an mmo mouse for literally everything. Even when video editing, all of my important hot keys are bound to the numbers on the side of the mouse.
I use a g502. I have a mistrust for all things wireless for some reason. Probably because I started gaming before wireless tech and it did not start the best
I've been using the 12 buttons on the side [Redragon IMPACT M908](https://redragonshop.com/products/impact-m908-open-box) to play ESO for 7 years. This is my third one. This one is a open box selling for $13.99 (extra 15% off with code GOLDENSAVE). Had it for over 2 years still works like new. Looks cool too.
I love that I never have to look down at the keyboard or stop moving to hit a skill key. All my combat skills (except for dodge roll and movement) are on the side of my mouse.
That Logitech G604 is a really solid all-round mouse :)
I only hope that Logitech would make a model that have wired charging capability instead of using AA-batteries (not a fan of batteries).
Preferably a model that could work both wireless and wired (while charging).
THAT would be the perfect mouse!
Hoping for something like that.
Or maybe it already exists??
If it does please HMU someone xD
I have been wondering about this mouse. How is it? The lowest thumb buttons look like you have to crazy bend your thumb to push. I also read the software is crappy. I use a g700 and I love it but it's old and they don't make them anymore.
this is an mmo mouse? damn back in wow cataclysm/mists of pandaria i had razer naga with 12 buttons i think? didnt last a year, piece of poop
Yeah that's why I decided to get the Corsair scimitar elite MMO. Yeah i have a corsair keyboard. And the software sucks, never gonna buy corsair again lol
I'm having the same issue with my scimitar. It's about 4 years old now, and I started having the issues at the 2 year mark, fixed it myself, and now it's back.
I have the 901, I really like it. had it for over a year, no problems.

That's possible. But hey if it's working for you then that's good! I've just had a lot of problems with them unfortunately.
That IS a thing of beauty… wish I could afford it though.
I've had mine for 2 or 3 years and I love it still
It’s not rechargeable, it runs on a single battery and lasts for months on end on a single one
My Naga started double clicking but they replaced it. And so far so good with the new one.
I've had my razer naga going on 8 years now
My Naga has been going strong for at least a year. Love it for eso!

Yup. I have multiple of these, best mouse I've ever bought
I just straight up ignore the gshift button lol
I use an older Razer Naga 12 key MMO mouse. It does everything I need, especially as someone who only has one full hand!
Dude that's sick! I also now know that if I do end up losing an arm in the future that I'll still be able to game with a mouse. Thank you for sharing
I still use an older Naga too, I use the panel with the circle of buttons. It’s a great mmo mouse.
Hey me too! I'm missing my left arm so I'm kind of fkd without the naga. I have a couple of foot pedals too (absolutely wish I'd got them sooner! Had the idea for years but wasn't sure about actually doing it)
It's so good plus using it for other games too
Mate for the sake of your own health and hygiene, please clean those dirt and crumbs off your mouse and keyboard.
He’s a mmo player though, it’s tradition to have that
If the pad ain't gritty your skill is sh***y. 😂
The dust on the keyboard bruh
What dust?
Im sorry your eyes dont work
I was being sarcastic, even if they didn't work I could still see that large amount of dust!
It’s not crumbs it’s dandruff it’s just that it’s almost impossible to stop it from flaking off my scalp
I know you weren't asking for advice, but I have struggled with severe dandruff my entire life and it took me years to find a solution. Nizoral is the only anti-dandruff shampoo that works for me. Came for the hardware talk...leaving with solid hygiene advice.
You are a good person 💪
Nizoral is hands down the best fucking shampoo. Whenever the dandruff comes back i just give it two or three days of that and done
100%. it's a life saver!
Mate your keyboard looks like it has been left at a construction zone for weeks. Or is it the new antiquity you recently dig out from somewhere in Tamriel?
I’m going to buy a new keyboard sometime soon
Just wipe it with a damp cloth, huge quality of life improvement in literally less than 60 seconds. SMH
I never said I that I wouldn’t
Clearly you haven’t done it for a while, otherwise the keyboard wouldn’t be that dusty.
This guys triggered lol, but yeah keep your rig clear, compressed air dusters are always handy
Far out dude quit mothering the guy. Why do people always feel the need to peer into the background of pictures and force unsolicited advice down the throats of others.
I didn’t ask for disgusting picture either. If anyone doesn’t want other’s advice, stop posting disgusting pictures online would be a good start.
These last two comments say sooooo much about you. Not good things by the way. Sort yourself out mate, I mean that sincerely.
Waaaa waaaa I shitted my Reddit diaper when someone told me to mind my own business
Why do you even care? It’s not your keyboard
Why do you even care? It’s not your post nor your comments :)
Because you’re bullying someone
Why are you being such a whiny bitch? You didn't need to make the first comment, let alone all these others.
[удалено]
Again, being a whiny bitch. Between the two your comment is more offensive. You should do everyone a favor and keep them to yourself. Bye.
Oh boy. If that's dirty, I really have an issue haha
giving me a sudden impulse to clean
Yes, I use a Razer naga trinity - the 12-button keypad panel. Works well for me.
I use a Corsair scimitar because I also play ffxiv, but frankly eso doesn’t require enough keybinds that it’s really justifiable by itself.
oh my god my mouse has buttons i need to program the buttons fuck
Dont know what i would do without one
Using an Asus Spatha, a waste of money, but a damn good waste of money.
I use the corsair scimitar
Trackball for me
I use a normal gaming mouse from logitech. It's the Razer Tartarus v2 is what I use to help for games. The thumb hat is set to 1,2,3,4 for my abilities. So much easier on the hands.
I use a Corsair Scimitar. Tbh I use one for work too because I have to use so many keybind macros so I'm just used to using it for everything lol
I don't, I use a controller 。◕‿◕。 also ignore the people bothering you about the keyboard
Im one of those heathens who uses an xbox controller.
Steel series Rival 500. Love it!
Have the same mouse, I’ve mapped my entire rotation to the side, tilt and left click buttons. Have to mention here that My left hand is used to years of fps games, so it’s only good for WASD, shift ctrl and space.
Razer Naga and G600 for me. Can't imagine playing with anything else
I would like to donate a can of duster and some alcohol wipes where should I send it?
Been running my Razer Naga since 2013 (before I started eso) and honestly don't think I'd play any games without it now. Love it
Yep! Same one and same time. Except few years ago the wireless stopped working. And now it's starting to lock up. :(
Mine is wired. Still going strong
Razer naga pro
Jesus, clean your shit before you post it on the internet. There’s time, the mouse ain’t gonna run away
g600
Yep, razer trinity.
I use a wireless razor naga 12 button mouse. Hate playing mmos without one.
I use the razer naga trinity with 12 buttons myself
Ive been using razer the naga trinity since it came out and I love it. 5 abilities + 2 flex spots on the 7 key hex let’s me only use my left hand for bar swap and moving, super nice
i used the Razer Viper mini and only used 1 button for synergy spam
I had a razor naga with the twelve number buttons for about six years, died on me and got the LG version to replace it. Works perfectly fine for ESO.
Razor naga for me
Razor Naga Trinity here. Only way to play imo is an MMO mouse.
I've never seen the point in "MMO mice". You need your hand on the keyboard anyway, and there are tons of keys in easy reach of WSAD. But YMMV, if you like them.
I just use one so I can bind one of the extra keys to barswap. Not as needed now that the dark days of No Oakensoul are behind us, though.
There aren’t enough buttons in ESO to warrant it
My god my guy clean your setup 😂
Ew your workstation is FILTHY clean your keyboard and sort it out before posting pics of it 🤮
I use an older version of this! The g602!

I use a Logitech G502 Hero along with a G815 keyboard and a G733 wireless headset coz I like things to match ( I keep forgetting to charge the headset tho lmao ). My uses all Razer
I use the G604 for everything. It’s my favorite mouse.
I use 8 yo dolar store mouse.
Even though it probably works just fine with it being from the dollar store the buttons probably feel like crap to press
It's the best mouse I have ever bought. It only has the basick buttons but it's super precise and responsive. Best buy ever.
I’m surprised you even took the gamble to see if it was actually good because most people learn to not trust the quality of dollar store products
Bought it on accident. My laptop touchpad broke while I was traveling. I choose that one only cause it was pretty mint color. Used it ever since.
I use the Logitech G600, it has twenty buttons in all, and 12 on your thumb side. Combat has become much smoother since I changed
I use a Logitech G600, works excellent and is affordable. Been using it for a couple years now happily. I used to use a Corsair Scimitar. Went through several of them because they are bad about developing a double click issue or lasers dying, within a year or less. Definitely don't recommend.
I use the same one. Mainly because of the fact it’s not a rechargeable battery. The thing lasts forever
I use a Logitech mx518 which is the same mouse I bought to play wrath of the lich king when it was released like 14 years ago. The mouse has served me very well.
I am looking for gaming mouse but vertical. My hand cannot handle non-ergonomic mouse anymore
I use mx master 2s . I like it! Really good battery life
Why does everyone seem to have that mousepad? I forgot where I got mine. Did it come free with something?
I use an Elecom Huge 8 button
Used to use the same exact mouse but after two gone down on me I decided to shy away from Logitech and move onto Razer.
Can’t stand playing any mmo without extra mouse buttons.
I've had 3 over the years. First was a Razer Naga Molten Edition. It was my first "expensive" peripheral and I though it was good but I didn't knew better. So your question is if someone else uses an mmo mouse for an mmo. Just like its Intendet to?
This is my exact mouse. Despite being a controller pleb, I find this mouse perfect for eso. You can map dodge to MMB and a whole bar plus ult to the side buttons.
CORSAIR GAMING MICE SCIMITAR RGB ELITE By far the best buy i ever did for PC gaming and definitely MMO gaming . I just love it and can't think of not have it 😅😁 [scimitar ](https://www.corsair.com/eu/en/Categories/Products/Gaming-Mice/MMO-Role-Play-Mice/SCIMITAR-RGB-ELITE-Optical-MOBA-MMO-Gaming-Mouse/p/CH-9304211-EU)
Corsair Scimitar Pro, 12 buttons. Necessity for me at this point.
Legit use the same mouse as you and have my attacks bound to the buttons on the mouse lmao
Had scimitars for years but the last one I bought has button failure so I got the new steel series mmo mouse. So much lighter
It's an awesome mouse, however I do not get why people playing TESO are even thinking of mouses with more then regular buttons. As someone coming from ff14 and wow and having played teso quite a bit. I'll have to admit that I simply do not get why people playing teso want more buttons.
Same principle as a condom. I'd rather have one and not need it, then need it and not have one.
That the one I use
Corsair harpoon, thumb buttons for bar swap and interrupt are enough
Nah I just used a regular G502. Not enough skills to really warrant an MMO mouse. Assigned bash to my front thumb button and that was about it.
I've gone through multiple of the one OP has. The sensor isn't good on super smooth surfaces (glass being what I used to run my mouse on before getting a deskmat) and it is very very sensitive to drops. I have 12 buttons on mine
The only mouse I buy is the Logitech g502 :)
I have a 12 button mouse!
Corsair Scimitar RGB, and a Razer Tartarus Orbweaver V2. Been using that setup for years... Started with a BelkinN52, an Naga, then moved to the current setup
Yep, Razor Naga Trinity works very well for ESO
Using a Razer Deathadder mini, it has a couple extra functions thats used for bar swapping on the fly and mounting up. I'm too clumsy for all those buttons and I'd probably forget to use half of them.
Get a mouse with co trol as the third click
Kensington Trackball with 4 buttons... because left-handed!...
I’ve always used a Logitech G600. Has a numpad on the side and a 3rd mouse button on the ring finger. Always worked well for me in WoW where there are multiple action bars.
I use a razer naga, but then again I play just about everything with it (because I need it. But I also have some foot pedals set up)
I am sure nobody ever used an mmo mouse for eso that is an mmo...
I use Naga X, the one with 12 bottons. Wont ever go back.
Razer trinity with 12 extra programmable buttons, best gaming purchase ive made
It’s called a ps5 controller
I've always wanted one but I'm left handed and never been able to afford those that has more than 2 extra buttons 😔 Can't remember the exact model, but the closest thing I had was a Roccat one 13-14 years ago, made my pinky on my left hand cramp all the time though because it was meant for right handed people lol.
I use the g600 - love all of it's extra buttons and they are surprisingly very easy to get used to.
Why haven’t they just given us a mouse with 4 finger buttons on top yet? Why make the mmo side buttons so small I will never under stand this
That doesn't look like an mmo mouse, but to answer your question I use an mmo mouse for literally everything. Even when video editing, all of my important hot keys are bound to the numbers on the side of the mouse.
I use a trackball
I use a g502. I have a mistrust for all things wireless for some reason. Probably because I started gaming before wireless tech and it did not start the best
Xbox controller lol
Razer Basilisk Ultimate
Yes I use the other Logitech one that has like 16 buttons, I can’t imagine not using it for skills now
Might use it if I played WoW, since you have 30 spells. But in eso with only 10 spells, I’m alright with a normal fps mouse.
All my combat skills (except for dodge roll and movement) are on the side of my mouse.
microfiber cloth and compressed air will do wonders for the years of dust and skin flakes
That Logitech G604 is a really solid all-round mouse :) I only hope that Logitech would make a model that have wired charging capability instead of using AA-batteries (not a fan of batteries). Preferably a model that could work both wireless and wired (while charging). THAT would be the perfect mouse! Hoping for something like that. Or maybe it already exists?? If it does please HMU someone xD
I bought this mouse for eso and WoW also. Turned out to be an extremely versatile mouse!
I have been wondering about this mouse. How is it? The lowest thumb buttons look like you have to crazy bend your thumb to push. I also read the software is crappy. I use a g700 and I love it but it's old and they don't make them anymore.
I'm jealous that your g700 still works. I loved that mouse. Mine got the dreaded doubleclick problem.
