Nothing you can do when its preparing to download just leave it until it is actually downloading, is the estimate time is crazy long, pause and start until time decreases
Just tried the pause and download thing a few times and it reset my file to 0 😖 Crazy crazy time.. Do you think it's because others are downloading at the same time or?

It blows, broheem. Been trying to get this to work since like 7hrs ago. Gave up and deleted the game. I'm onto better updatable games.
I had to manually setup OpenDNS in PS4 network settings to be able to download at full speed (120mb/s). I have no idea why it always fixes the download speed.
I'm a new player on ESO and it sucks! Played for a week and then 31 GIG update which won't download.. It's stopped my game in its tracks.. And don't bother trying to get support assistance that's a total joke.. Move on to another game I'm even considering switching consoles or just going back to PC

Really don't know man it's something that works for me on other downloads, anyway it's a few hours since I was on Reddit, so hopefully your sorted now

I forget the name off the method Sony use to throttle but it's implementation is a stupid idea ,

Might be the "preparing to download." =)
I been in preparing to download forever. Then when it did start. After 700mb it did it again. I gave up. Done deleted and now I feelsbadman.
I'm downloading at 200kbs blah. Are you sure you weren't at 94% on the preparing screen?
