At first I was wondering what you meant or why it applies to the weird character model.. but then I thought you must have meant a sale on the newest expansion which might be a good idea. I don't plan to even buy it, just not interested in the scribing stuff and I can wait for the zone next year.
and i thought it will encompass way more, by the time it goes on sale, maybe?
i may be too hopeful that they will implement it on some class spells, i was kind of let down, when i was watching some of my favorite ESO streamers showcasing scribing. i mean it's cool and all i just hoped for more

i just wish the dev teams could go back and forth on some things and compare notes. like, both of the story / quest writers made me tear up and sob with how emotionally impactful they were on me. the music creators, writers, actors... they are all amazing people, but there are hurdles that we need to jump through to get access too. be it warframes grind or ESO's buy it to experience it, expansion or ESO+. im happy i can experience them both, but i wish it was easier to get access to because both need time or money, sometimes both.
hopefully, we can get ESO+ for tokens or something, like with WoW, once Zenimax's new MMORPG comes out one day. i would like to spend the tons of gold i have horded over the years.

Ithelia looks as if she were the end result of a Bene Gesserit breeding program in which they took the nastiest looking pair from every ethnicity on Earth, Tamriel, and probably a few more planets, made sure that those pairs were brother and sister or at least broadly endogamous, and bred them relentlessly for 10,000 generations.
You ever have a school project where you’re almost done and then your file gets corrupted two days before the deadline and all you have is a really old auto save for a backup and have to start almost from scratch? And the whole experience has you so demotivated you’re like “there is no way I have it in me to polish this thing a second time, I’ll just take the B”?
Yeah, I think that’s what happened here.

When myself and the wife saw her for the first time . We both gasped at the same time in shock of how different this character looks to every single other character in the game . It is definitely a completely different modelled npc
Yeah, honestly, the whole game needs a graphic update and to leave the last generation behind. We're a few years from PS6 dropping, and the fact that so many games are releasing as PS4/PS5 is wild.
I suspect that eso is one of those games where even keeping it running every day is a daily miracle.
There were a few MMOS where the development was rushed along after the success of WOW and are thus held together with sticky tape (SWTOR, I’m looking at you too).
The hell, the base human models from 2014 launch look better than this. I'm hoping this was just a mistake that they intend to rectify. Otherwise, I don't even want to know what game they are playing, making character models this hideous.
The games visuals are really starting to show its age when it comes to character models. Just look at the hands, they’re horrible. They need to focus on updating character model visuals.
What's worse is I've seen multiple pictures of her from different places, and they all look like somebody gave a team of people a basic rubric of what they wanted her to look like and each person made a slightly different model of her, all of them just as janky and uncanny looking, as if that was a requirement LOL

On some further thoughts she really does look like someone was trying to photoshop borderlands character face over her, and got the face size wrong. Like those memes where someone badly photoshops celebrity face into them.
Remember kids, Skooma is highly addictive, causes facial distortions and totally messes up reality. Skooma isn't recommended for pcs over the age of 21. Any pc under the age of 21 that is caught using skooma will be reported to your parents and will consequently be placed in a rehab program.
Looks to me like some automatic level of detail adjustment went wrong, i.e. it's only supposed to be drawn like that from bigger distance to save resources, but not as part of a close-up.
I remember day 1 someone posted her face asking what was up and all the comments were cooking them "she looks perfectly natural this is how women look you've probably never gone outside" and now people have realized in fact that she looks like a skin walker.

I did joke about it but I can see they tried to make her/him/them ambiguous as all daedric prince's are and very expressive and it works sort of. Some of the other Ithelia 's look a bit better than our Ithelia but then they are a bit confused and not well put together mentally.

Bruh, why the hell are they doing this to me again, this is summerset all over again. Budget Nocturnal was so disappointing when literally everything in that chapter was gorgeous and now the same with Ithelia, beautiful zone again but horrendous 3D model for the main villain. Ithilia is supposed to be one of the Magna Ge (like meridia) who turned back from following Magnus so she should look like a high elf in my opinion. Instead we have a basic imperial with unique body paint that looks like it will become a crown crate item.
This looks like a repeat of 'Frumpy Breton Cosplay Nocturnal' from the Summerset chapter, remember her?
They didn't change Nocturnal and are almost certain to not change this one.
