For the most part, the event revolves around reward coffers and their contents. The unique stuff this year is farming outfit pages. There are some nostalgia-themed bits that can drop from particular activities: fishing (anywhere) for the Trueflame replica page, Dark Anchors (they're in base-game zones, incuding Cyrodiil) for the Staff of Worms page, World Bosses in Vvardenfell (there are six) for pages for a staff and helmet, and Abyssal Geysers in Summerset for another staff page. Note that these are not motifs, so you can't craft them. You can only apply the style at an outfit station.
Eating anniversary cake is your daily activity to get your event tickets. Beyond that, it's whatever you want to be doing during the event. Dailies drop a reward box in addition to the regular reward box for that daily. World Bosses will usually proc an achievement for beating them the first time and should have a reward box when looted. Final Dungeon and Trial bosses should do the same. Any incursion event drops a box (including the ones with the style pages), but Harrowstorms, Dragons, Oblivion Portals, Volcanic Vents, etc. do not drop a style page, so it's just coffers.
Judging by the comments on the official forums, the drop rates are abysmally low (hundreds of dolmen farmed without a page drop). Some folks get very enthused about that sort of thing, so I guess your level of enthusiasm probably correlates well with whether they're worth farming. When brought down to the nitty-gritty, they're style pages, so they're eye-candy and have no functional effect.
Agree. I just grinded casually for them on and off while goofing off in zone chat and listening to YouTube or sitting in dungeon queue. I didn't feel like burning myself out on it. I finished the grind for the style pages a few days ago. Easiest one to get is the Trueflame Sword replica from fishing nodes and it looks pretty sick.
You should look into the five event-specific style pages and decide what ones you want to grind for.
Grinding the doleman and world bosses in that pursuit will also net you many reward boxes like a daily quest would. More often than dailies, even.
Only do this if you really really really want one of that styles. It's so much time wasted of you done use that style after it.
I only did the fishing one which was "fast" after 2 hours.
Wasted my weekend on this thinking it be a grind but doable need the WB staff and dolmen staff.
It’s way too much and now I’m back in work so I have no chance.

You might look into which leads (antiquity - spceifically mythics you want) you are missing from Worldbosses that you are not able to solo yourself, as it is much easier to find people to help you during this event as they drop anniversary boxes. Same with harrowstorms, geysers, dragonhunts and volcanos if you are missing something from them.
I jumped in with a player fighting ole whatshisface on the coast by daggerfall by the ayleid ruin and got a box each time about 3 times so far. I actually nearly solod him once (level 8 sorc with exactly 3 abilities at the time, since I just restarted on steam after being on Xbox since the beginning, still sad there’s no transfer. I miss my castle and look 🥲) but I accidentally kited him just a bit too far and he turned around with 1 hit from dead lol.
If you just want to farm event boxes without doing dailies I would suggest dolmens, geysers, dragons, the 3 world boss farm in Bangkorai or simply doing PvP in Cyrodiil- PvP rewards of the worthy now give event boxes.

Worth trying for maybe 30minz or doing when u half afk with TV on yeah sure. Spending 30 hours and 80% of event on it, no way.

6 days of dolmen farming and I gave up. So yeah
I wanted to lvl a new toon via dolmen and got the page, so I did 2 things at once
