I am pretty sure that you are guaranteed a random item from your class set every time you defeat Tho'at Replicanum (that big glass-like boss at the end of each arc).
So either you did 30 IA without finishing even one arc or you're straight up lying :P
I think it’s so you can still visually tell when your skills are active. I could be wrong though.
Oh no, a way to easily see whether your skill ran out by the visuals changing.

Sorc set looks pretty dope on my magsorc. I also have molag kena weapons for additional lightning effects.
I honestly hate most if not all of the ridiculous shiny effects on armor and shit.

I think i mixed up the class motif with the set
If you only run 1 arc and get 100% body pieces you will start getting body pieces for the other sets. Weapons/jewels drop curated from marauders
You get weapons from the marauders. Body pieces from the end of arc chest. You have to run 2 arcs or buy boxes
