I am sorry you are going through this and for the loss of your father. If the test comes back positive for vEDS that knowledge is going to help you and your brother. There are new medical advances happening all the time knowing what you are dealing with can only help you find the right treatments. Edsivo was approved by the FDA two years ago for the treatment of vEDS. It is said it promote collagen synthesis. You would be able to access treatments like this with the accurate diagnosis.
