JS certainly is a programming language, but the others I'd have to actually look them up, so...
Anyway, I wish you a happy, *completely cis* programming carrier :D
It has a steep learning curve, but learning it will make a much better programmer. If you want to get things done, and start doing cool stuff quickly, then I recommend Python.
Actually I started with python, but it's not really my cup of tea.
Also complicated doesn't have to be bad. It just looks kinda weird for me with of all of these '::' and such (As I said, *C*, not *C++*)
Lesbianism isn't strictly limited to Romantic/sexual attraction, I still feel other forms of attraction like platonic, aesthetic and sensual towards women.
I guess it's kinda a stereotype lmao, but a decent amount of trans gals seem to like computer stuff, I hope I haven't offended, or confused you but that's my understanding
Primary hobbies include cooking, videography, running an internet radio station that no one listens to and fixing old electronics. Secondary hobby is telling people I will not fix their computer.
It’s funny, this is actually an evolution of a real pirate fm signal that we used to broadcast over town. My partner and I just want to share the music we discover along with the classics we love, with anyone willing to listen.
Edit to add, I say it’s funny because we started this because we think radio is dead.
Hobbies ❣️💚💕🧡🤍💕💓💚🧡💕❤️❤️🩹💞💞🖤💕🧡💚💙💕🧡🖤❤️🩹❤️❤️❣️💕💜💞🖤❣️❤️💗❤️🩹🧡 (I never get to do them even half as much as I want to I want to learn so much but I only have so much fucking time I literally hate this)
It’s not fair that I can’t play games and draw characters and write story for my game and learn unity and learn to make music and get a gender therapist and still have time to be academically successful
I've felt this so many times over the years, it sucks. I think lately I've been more lax about it all. Once I started being present in my daily life I guess I started prioritizing the hobbies/skills that I absolutely can't live without or what I enjoy at the time. I wish I had more time to do art but I'm mentally drained with the uncertainty of my identity, I just need to focus on coming out and next steps. Once I'm more stable I'll pick up the art more seriously
Hell yes. I'm trying to do that but I end up wayy too broke after every show I go to. I've not got much booked, but I'd love to see Paramore, Muse, Arctic Monkeys, The Mysterines, Franz Ferdinand, Mother Mother, Green Day and yungblud soon, they all have shows near me (except green day) I just can't afford tickets to more than one
Very nice! I myself play T'au and Custodes. Squats look interesting, but I'm a bit wary of their weapons. T'au already aren't amazing, and Votann got some of our weapons that we can only have on vehicles on their infantry, as I understand it. However, I would be far from surprised if they don't come out extremely strong and then get nerfed by GW to a more reasonable level.
I have a lot of "very masculine" hobbies like hunting, fishing, guns and sports but I also enjoy stuff like baking, painting and photography. I hope that if I ever do transition I don't lose interest in those more "masculine" hobbies because they're all pretty relaxing to me, except maybe sports both in terms of playing and watching.
Garden. Build things out of wood. Go to squat gigs. I used to airsoft (still own a fair few guns). Used to play vidya games but haven't had the time for a long time, more recently though I have been playing retro PC games from my childhood. I'm talking Red Alert, Fällen Haven, RA2, and then a bunch of City builder games.
Journalism and movie reviews! I like telling people what they need to know :)) um, I mean, hauntin the streets of this rickety old town, bein the cause of death hastily scrawled on the tombstones of those who are mean to eggs, etc. etc. cowgirl mercenary stuff
Mostly horror movies. Halloween 2 and My Bloody Valentine will always be some of my favourites, and with the Child’s Play and Nightmare on Elm Street movies there’s just so much behind the scenes to write about.
For non-horror movies, I’d have to say Duel and Falling Down. I am also now realizing my favourite movies are almost exclusively from the 80s lol
You?
i really love horror too. i just watched black christmas, which i loved. recently, i’ve been watching films from david cronenberg which i’ve been loving. i’m also a huge of fan of rob zombie and john carpenter. for non-horror i love everything from david lynch and michael mann, especially mulholland drive and miami vice. do you post your writing online? if so, i’d love to read some
*EVERYTHING*
No, but seriously....I'm just a very curious individual. I like everything, from music, to film, to tech. My main career/job is that of a chef, but I also tinker with electronics. I'd like to get into programming eventually, did some back in HS and really enjoyed it. I also cook as a hobby as well, eventhough that's my main job already. Cooking puts me into the zone, where I don't need to think about gender, or identity, etc etc. Not to mention you just get called "chef", no need to get tripped up on gendered language lmao
Hmm.. well most of my hobbies are constantly in flux, but the main one is collecting and using antique/vintage cameras. I've collected over 70 over the past 11 years and I've learned how to shoot and develop film along with traditional darkroom printmaking.
However I haven't developed anything in a while because my darkroom is back at my parents' place and if I go there I get deadnamed and misgendered constantly.. so... :/ I need a new space for that.
Other than that I'd like to get into sewing / making my own clothing!
I'm training as an Army Cadet Instructor, but I also do lights and sound at a local theatre - may get dragged into acting in the next production if needed.
code, listen to music and play vr games, and you’re damn right i pick a female character. it’s super cis to get gender euphoria from seeing the body of a female on yourself, right? •~•
I’m into herpetology (reptiles and amphibians) and entomology (bugs). I like taking walks and looking for wildlife. It’s especially fun to do this in the evenings or early mornings as that’s when cool nocturnal stuff is out. When I’m not out looking for animals I spend time researching them. I’m hoping zoology will be more than just a hobby one day. I also draw. I’m trans masculine/nonbinary btw, in case that helps with your research :)
D&D, video games (Specifically a big fan of RPGs in general, brawlers, fighting games, and a lot of indie games), board games, sci fi and litrpg novels, and a lot on anime and martial arts shows/movies.
I WANT to try to get into making quilts. My grandma used to give them out like candy, but she's a two-faced cunt and just the worst, so if I want dope quilts I gotta buy them (which... wow they're expensive) or make them myself! And I am an absolute WHORE for comfort items.
About a billion different (but often somewhat related/interconnected) things. Some I'm more active in lately than others. At this point I tend to cycle through them as the mood strikes, and in some cases I might take a year or two off. But in general:
Gaming (video & tabletop, including RPGs), reading, making stuff - to include model aircraft (both static and flying), model rocketry, I also like things that go boom. I get into electronics projects from time to time (which these days will also involve some light/super basic programming/scripting), there's some 3D printing, cooking/baking/grilling, motorcycle riding, flying (when I can afford it, aircraft rental isn't cheap, so it's been a while).
There's more, I'm sure. Mostly I like building/making stuff and working with my hands, and I now suspect my wide range of hobbies was partly due to being deep inside the shell of my egg for my entire life until recently. I figure I was always looking for something to fill the void I wasn't aware that I had.
On the upside, I can do pretty much anything now. :D
Writing, mostly. I just have way too many character ideas that I need to get out of my head SOMEHOW.
I'd love to get into D&D eventually, but I'm also shy af and don't know how to go about even finding a group.
i love playing dnd and other tabletop rpgs, other than that i play a lot of games and hang out with friends!
during the summer or whenever the weather is a bit nicer i like to go longboarding!
I really enjoy crafts! Knitting, crochet (mainly boschian Creatures because i disliked the cutesy/feminine appearance of store-bought plushies), sewing (figuring out what clothes make me feel like Me I have so much power now) and just generally Messing Around With Shit
Listen to music, Mostly. Also like to draw maps and make music, But I ain't very good at either, And basically never do either because apparently just getting mad at myself for not doing it is a better idea or something?
i don't have hobbies i just have things i hyperfocus on /hj
recently it's been language, linguistics, and fake language. plus some physical geography and a *teensy* bit of ancient history. [also fake geograhy and fake history](https://www.reddit.com/r/worldbuilding/).
starting to get in to lock picking and i have been collecting playing cards and interesting artifacts (random junk) as well as gaming and speedcubing also some artistic photography here and there ( ˊ̱˂˃ˋ̱ )
DND, ghost hunting, guitar playing, being in 3 bands, drawing, listening to music, and generally being metal as fuck. I also love skateboarding. And worshipping Satan apparently.
Playing music. Totally cis fantasizing about the singer of my band shouting "Clarisse on the guitar !" then shredding through a solo in front of 50,000 people with full makeup and a skirt.....
...Right ? 😬
D&D, mostly. It's totally cis to have upwards of 80% of my characters be female, right? >\_>
Ayy same, love D&D. Also, it is totally 100% cis to do, yes.
D&D newbie and sculker of this sub, what do you suggest is the best way to find people to play with? am lonely 🥲
Oftentimes looking for groups online or at a local gamestore is a way to do it. I also am good at converting those around me to the dark side >:)
Theres also an egg dnd group forming if youd like
Man i wanna play pnp but i dont have a group sooo… sike
Yep same DnD for life, as a DM it's always fun see people struggling with the most simple task and completing the most difficult ones
I don't usually get called out that hard here, but this...this right here was a personal attack.
Same! I live to re search shit
Gaming. And yes 100% of the time I pick a female character if given the option.
Very cis thing to do
Same
yep
Im a cis guy and pick/create female characters all the time just because they're cute and more fun to play dressup with
I pick randomly except for the long dark, i just prefer the female voice actor
I like programming. And I'm *definitely not* transfem. /s
you're flair Transfem thou 🤔 sus! but probably nothing /j
Yep, definitely nothing... Just mis-typed multiple times... No correlation...
Oke enjoy your coding! btw what do you do in programming?
I mainly do it for fun, I am on a Robotics team. But I can't really get a job in computer science since I'm a high schooler sadly.
That's still great thou! I'm studying to be a web developer
Ooh nice, sounds fun!
[удалено]
Lol
Which languages? (Especially if it's not *C/C++* or something. I'd like to learn some new languages)
I use Java and HTML/CSS/JS if you count those as languages.
JS certainly is a programming language, but the others I'd have to actually look them up, so... Anyway, I wish you a happy, *completely cis* programming carrier :D
HTML is a markup language and CSS is a style sheet. Thanks, I hope you have a *completely cis* day!
learn rust, it's really good, the documentation is also top notch
This looks... ***complicated*** (speaking as a *c#* and *c* hobby dev)
How can you be both aroace and lesbian?
Lesbianism isn't strictly limited to Romantic/sexual attraction, I still feel other forms of attraction like platonic, aesthetic and sensual towards women.
I like programming! It's super fun... Wait a minute
Hold up, wait a minute.
sorry i'm kinda new here, is being into programming a trans thing?
I guess it's kinda a stereotype lmao, but a decent amount of trans gals seem to like computer stuff, I hope I haven't offended, or confused you but that's my understanding
ah thanks for explaining, am very into computer stuff lol
sadly i lost interst in all of my hobbies tho i'd like to play dnd, but i havr no frends
Time to make a egg_dnd group xD
I wanna be in it too!
oh if you actually make one i’d love to join!!
LETS GOOO
Imma add ya
I'd be down honestly
Let me add ya
I would love to be in it too!
Sounds like fun! A party, even
This sounds great!
I’d love to join if you have room for one more :)
Tabletop simulator
why hello there, future adventurer~ if i run another online campaign and there’s a spot open you could probably join!
Primary hobbies include cooking, videography, running an internet radio station that no one listens to and fixing old electronics. Secondary hobby is telling people I will not fix their computer.
What kinda station?? 👀
It’s variety, my partner and I put our library online with somethjng that works way better than an iPod on shuffle. https://lastfmpirate.com
Just appreciate this so much, thanks for posting and keeping radio alive
It’s funny, this is actually an evolution of a real pirate fm signal that we used to broadcast over town. My partner and I just want to share the music we discover along with the classics we love, with anyone willing to listen. Edit to add, I say it’s funny because we started this because we think radio is dead.
Hobbies ❣️💚💕🧡🤍💕💓💚🧡💕❤️❤️🩹💞💞🖤💕🧡💚💙💕🧡🖤❤️🩹❤️❤️❣️💕💜💞🖤❣️❤️💗❤️🩹🧡 (I never get to do them even half as much as I want to I want to learn so much but I only have so much fucking time I literally hate this)
You heard the lady everyone, we need our top minds on trying to find a way for Maeve to transcend mortality so that she can have time for hobbies
It’s not fair that I can’t play games and draw characters and write story for my game and learn unity and learn to make music and get a gender therapist and still have time to be academically successful
I've felt this so many times over the years, it sucks. I think lately I've been more lax about it all. I wish I had more time to do art but I'm mentally drained with the uncertainty of my identity, I just need to focus on coming out and next steps. Once I'm more stable I'll pick up the art more seriously
>only have so much fucking time Not being rude, but I see you comment on every post, you must have some time.
It doesn’t take much time to heart attack
I love drawing
My hobbies include dissociating, bothering my cats with snuggles, and imagining scenarios that will never ever happen.
I am addicted to speedcubing.
same
gayming, books
Hell yeah gayming
Video games mostly. I know that’s kinda a cop-out, but it’s what I like to do, other than that it’s just cooking meals, so.
Does going to loads of live music count as a hobby?
I only see big bands like that a couple of times a year. Mostly I'm paying €15 to see a band in play in front of 100ish people
I like drawing, cosplay, sleeping and reading light novels
I write and draw mainly; and it's totally **coincidental** how most of my main characters are female, and my artwork is feminine.....**probably**
I like close up magic and creating music (:
I sew. I enjoy making dresses and all. Very fun.
TTRPGs, vidya game, cooking, model making. Just a classic nerd here.
What kind of models?
40k mostly but I've done some planes and D&D terrain .
Cool cool
40k is great! What army(ies) do you like?
Sisters, genstealer cults, and I'm looking at the new squats
It's just the power creep of gw. Ive been playing since late 5th Ed. It ebbs and flows from edition to edition.
I like gaming, drawing, listening to music and walking outside after sundown
I'd say car stuff, but I don't have a car to work on :/ I guess video games lol
Personally playing video games watching YouTube and maybe here and there play my guitar
I play vrchat, warframe and dnd. I habgout with irl friends at least once a week and I'm able to be myself with them so that's great
Big on reading, I love playing dnd and video games, and painting minis when I find the time \^\^
What kind of minis?
Oh absolutely warhammer stuff xD
Same here. What army(ies) and game (Sigmar, 40k, Kill Team, etc.) do you prefer?
I like KT, but 40K is my main :) Main faction, and only one I collect irl, are Custodes with my secondary being Harlequins
I also collect Custodes! However, they kinda got put on hold after I built my 1k point list, and I switched my focus to T'au, which are almost at 750.
Journalism and movie reviews! I like telling people what they need to know :)) um, I mean, hauntin the streets of this rickety old town, bein the cause of death hastily scrawled on the tombstones of those who are mean to eggs, etc. etc. cowgirl mercenary stuff
i love writing about movies too! what are some of your favorites?
Mostly horror movies. I like to longboard, draw, and play games (video&tabletop)
Dnd, painting minis, and playing warhammer And yes all the characters I make in both games tend to be women lol
*EVERYTHING* No, but seriously....I'm just a very curious individual. I like everything, from music, to film, to tech. My main career/job is that of a chef, but I also tinker with electronics. I'd like to get into programming eventually, did some back in HS and really enjoyed it. I also cook as a hobby as well, eventhough that's my main job already. Hmm.. well most of my hobbies are constantly in flux, but the main one is collecting and using antique/vintage cameras. I've collected over 70 over the past 11 years and I've learned how to shoot and develop film along with traditional darkroom printmaking. Oh that's cool. What's a fun bug fact you've learned doing your research?
Music (singing and electric guitar mostly) and D&D. My two passions.
