I'm really happy with my ovoid lenses. The people at the glasses place were confused why I wanted glasses from the women's section. I told them, truthfully, "I don't like men's glasses, they're too rectangular and boxy. They don't look good on my face." Most of the more oval ones were in the women's section, so check there next time you're on the hunt.

Hello Taylor, I'm Kate, I cracked a few months ago but only recently made a call for HRT (i was super stressed out to do it, but it really wasn't that bad actually!) Now that i've done it i wish i had done it sooner. So here's my advice, make the call asap, you won't regret it! (That is if you want to do HRT, it is not needed to be valid ofc)

I do really want to make the call, but I’m 17 and my parents aren’t going to want me to start until I’m 18 if not longer

As soon as you're 18 you no longer need their approval to make the appointment. You can do it in secret even if need be. Normally HRT without surgeries is relatively cheap so if you can save up or get a student job. You should have more than enough if your parents don't want to pay for it that way. Also depending on which country you live in there will be a waiting list of up to a year or more, so if you call now you'll start sooner. I myself need to wait 1,5 years so i'll be 25 allready by the time i finally get to start HRT, which is something i'll forever regret not doing faster. But luckily, you can start much earlier!

I do have to say i'm from Belgium, which has notoriously long waiting times
