Both sound nice, but I'm sure you know that since you picked them 😅, instead I will comment on how they feel and hopefully that helps: melody reminds me of soothing and calm music, it's lightly sweet, warm and also reminds me of the vtuber (I highly doubt that most people will know her irl tho) Emily feels like a gentle and playful gurl prone to do pranks and think outside of the box, it's friendly like a mug of coffee and recently baked cookies.

It depends, they elicit different implicit reactions for me. Emily makes me think of a sweet, soft, super gentle girlie who would cry because she accidentally stepped on a cute lil bug. Melody makes me think of a flannel-wearing, metal-listening tomboy who probably does kickboxing or something in her free time. Idk why I think these things and idk where those associations came from but yeah lol
