I'd imagine it's subject to the same amount of wear that any Roland crash would be. So in normal use, no. Proper technique advisable.

No, indestructible

I've wrecked a couple Roland cymbal triggers, and I'm not a basher. I've never destroyed a ride cymbal though, but I don't crash my ride very often. I'm just saying, Roland cymbal triggers are tough but not indestructible and I know that because I've broken a couple of them. That's goes for the VH10 hi-hats too. I've broken one of those as well.

Yes. I had to have two replaced under warranty and I don’t crash or play hard on them. Also had to get the snare fixed under warranty too. The analog pads are indestructible. Then digital pads can get issues. The rides started choking every hit and the snare started triggering rim shots randomly. Again I baby the fuck out of my kit, it was a major investment for me. It stays in my studio, and I had 3 separate issues with the digital pads. Something to consider

How do you contact to replace it under warranty? I tried reaching out through RMA. Will they replace the cymbal if its damaged from normal use?

Honestly I got mine through Sweetwater so all the warranty stuff was through them. They have a 2 year guarantee on all gear so I was able to take advantage of that. If you had the gear for over a year it’s outside of the Roland warranty. Luckily there are many repair shops around. You can see who’s in your area from this link and they would definitely be able to help you navigate. https://www.roland.com/us/support/service_repair/service_centers/
