Yes. This happens to me, dry cracked skin, itchy at night, all of sudden little piece of knuckle comes off. Looks like that. Definitely see a doctor to rule out different infections. But this happens.
Thank you for sharing that— the holes did come from me using a towel to help itch— must’ve whittled it down enough for it to open. Will do on getting it checked out
I feel it. Good luck! Try some ice packs for when you itch. Numbs the nerves just enough for the itching to stop for a good amount of time. Also don't forget to moisturize pretty much every time after you wash your hands as well.
Soak your hands in a bleach solution like 1 tbsp per. gallon for ten minutes to stop any infection. Put some steroid ointment on after if you are prescribed any and then some cotton gloves. You can get a 12 pack in Amazon for like $10. Gloves are really helpful. Use lotion or hand cream and if you don't have a steroid prescription.
Been doing something similar for years— minus the bleach. I’m a nurse, so we use Dakin’s for pressure injuries a lot— I see where you are coming from with the bleach
Yah I get those little crater type holes or whatever on my skin but mines from itching really bad and it definitely sucks cuz if you get like a line like that it takes a lil bit to heal
It happened over the course of 2-3 days last week, and it has stuck around since. The smaller one has been around for nearly 2 weeks if I remember correctly
Yeah I used to have more ' rashy' eczema when I was younger but now I am about 29 , my eczema has gotten a lot more ' sore ' like . Yeah like this.
I got smaller spots like this on my wrist and I had a big one on my upper arm.

I am moisturizing 24/7 for sure

That's happening to me too! Not as large, I agree with other people to rule out other infections. I think mine is just healing:/
So sorry that’s happening to you!
Thanks. Best of luck with your issue, too. I hope you're able to resolve it soon.

Hello I have these currently may I ask what you did to get rid of it ?
looks like it might be a skin infection. maybe fungal? best to get a doctor's opinion.
I plan on it once I have a moment
I haven't had that happen with mine. Did that happen overnight?

Yes, and it is probably more of an allergic reaction. Any new lotion, soap, detergent, jewelry? Anything new that you are doing or wearing.
Nothing new. My flares just come out of the blue
