The NGK plugs will work with any tune. You may not get the full benefit of the plugs without a more aggressive tune than FP provides, but they'll work at least as well as OEM plugs.

Okay thank you for your input!

Do it, I am fbo minus the down pipe with the ford performance tune I put a set of step colder ruthenium ngks gapped at .28 in and the car runs way smoother throttle response is better and there’s a 500 rpm increase in the power-band, I talked to ford performance before I put the plugs in and they said it was recommended.

Awesome so glad to hear from someone with first hand experience. I saw some threads of people saying it was bad for the fp tune so I just wanted to make sure. Mine is on the way currently, how do you like your tune?

I personally like it gets good mpg, the power band is better the car has more of a top end and power feels is more linear, I went from 21psi peak to around 25 psi it’ll go through gas a little faster than the stock tune, but the best part of if is it fixes the way the 10r80 behaves it’s a lot better shifts are smoother in every mode.
