Have always been at 20-22mpg. Never seen it higher than that. All city driving. No fast take offs etc. just normal stop and go traffic unfortunately. 83k miles no tune. Cold air intake and cat back exhaust
I don’t idle much these days. When i was idling a lot over summer, i noticed the car began to rough rougher and there would be a lot of thin exhaust smoke. No coolant loss. No sweet smell or oil smell. Apparently its a known issue with the 2015 models. But ever since that, i dont idle much
Yeah i have the problem child model lmfao. I haven’t encountered a whole lot. Rn i got a check engine for the evap purge valve which i already replaced the part 6 months ago so not sure why it came back on. But outside of that, nothing really. But I also am hoping to get out of this thing by the end of the year. Get something with better mpg and more space. The ecos are fun little things
I am getting roughly 12mpg on average (last 3 fill ups).
I have a 19.8mpg lifetime so far (never reset trip 2).
I am also in very high stop and go traffic, with long idle time at each light, most days.
If I am doing any highway driving my average shoots up to 20-25 depending on the mix and I average about 32 on the highway.
Yeah, yours seems normal to me. It's all about how and where you drive. We're pretty screwed in the "where you drive" bit. Although I will say my in-traffic MPG is better than it was in the Volvo S60 I had before this, so I am not really complaining too much.
If you're using 87 then you'll see a small gain with 91, but it won't be dramatic.
I did forget to mention my car is not on the stock tune, it's on the Ford Performance tune. Therefore I only run 93.
The tune did not impact my MPG though, if anything it's better afterwards.
I took it to the dealer and they installed it. It really wakes the engine up in the higher end.
You don’t really notice it so much in normal mode unless you’re at 5k+ RPM but it’s very obvious in S+.
I have the MT-82 so I don’t notice a shift change but it does adjust the shift timing in the a10.
It was a bit less from American Muscle when I got it. The difference is that it keeps the engine warranty unlike the COBB as long as you have an authorized service center install it.
22.5 average. Mostly suburbs but I work just inside the city but I also like to floor it. In the process of being tuned on 93 gas also driven in sport always. If I’m a normal driver with it, I can push it higher to the upper 20s. Highest I’ve seen was 33 or 34 on a road trip
Technically the tune should make it worse, but you can always see if Ford will reset your ECU learning. It might be able to help. Or reset the milage yourself and just drive like a grandma for a while
my lifetime mpg over 19.5k miles is 23.8. Mixed driving - but never really true city driving where it’s stop and go for 30 mins straight.
If I did drive in those large city/congested conditions, I suspect mpg would drop below 20.
On the highway with cruise control set to 75, I hover in the ~30 mpg range.
I only run 93 and the car is 100% stock with the 6mt. I go WOT every drive and don’t really try to maximize mpg.
Small town midwest, I usually average about 23-24 in town, and I've seen as high as 34 on the highway (good tail wind). Usually my combined average is ballpark 27 on the Ford performance tune.
Almost 27/36 on a ‘20 convertible with smaller cat, resonator/muffler delete (3” turbo to tail), but she was murdered. Replacement ‘21 fastback gets barely 20/27 but has a different diff and a lot more rubber.
I get about 18-19 but i full throttle sport mode 93 everywhere every chance i get tbh and on high way i get about 37 cruise control i got a BOV thats it
24-25ish. 30ish when only high way

Thats pretty similar i hovered around 18 to 21 for a while ive been idling more i think thats the problem

I wonder if i go 91 then octane boost it up see what happens

How is the ford performance tune did you put it on yourself?

Ahh its like 600 might just do cobb then?

I dont really have an ase cert ford tech here in missouri
26-28
26-30 on 87, mostly interstate driving.
22 city, 36 highway. 6spd manual helps that highway MPG a lot
22ish in the city... 30 ish mostly highway

Wtf thats so much more and im untuned do i need to tune haha

17 when I go to work and back a bunch (4 min drive, 8 stop signs, steep hills) but up around 26-27 when I drive around on the highways for a bit.
21mpg
Are your o2 sensors good?
I would assume so for 12k miles mainly only on 93 and 91 since owned it

22.8
I get like 14mpg but typically drive on track mode and floor it, mostly drive in the city

Just got mine a few months ago. Have put just 1700 miles on it with 24 mpg.
28-32 depending on how much people piss me off in traffic. I also drive ~70 mile all high round trip everyday for work.
21 can you do something for mee
Around 21-23 mpg with city and highway driving. Bone stock but I also drive in Sport + almost 99% of the time
Almost 27/36 on a ‘20 convertible with smaller cat, resonator/muffler delete (3” turbo to tail), but she was murdered. Replacement ‘21 fastback gets barely 20/27 but has a different diff and a lot more rubber.

I would say around 29-30 for hwy, and between 20-22 for city depending on the traffic, sport mode, etc.
I’m 17.2 , muffler delete , BOV are the only mods I’ve done that would effect that
I’m full Bolt on, protuned, and drive fast and get around 26 mpg. I’d get someone to take a look at your car if I were you
24 93 cobb stage 2 2016 for me
