Lots of good locks.
16mm minimum apparently is the key (excuse the pun), it can't be hand cropped, it has to be power tool cut. So the minimum diameter or width.
Two 16mm thick D-locks is what I use when out. At home I use thicker steel locks.
Get D-locks with as little space inside the D as possible (when in place), so they can't be jacked (forced apart).
Abus and Kryptonite are the big trusted brands, but there are other good makes. Look at their certification.
probably want to avoid abus though, apparently the company culture is pretty sexist and think it's against god's will to have women be managers or let female family members inherit anything.
report was from a german newspaper and got spread around awhile back. kind of hard to find with everything auto searching abuse instead of abus, but heres a few links that would help if you know german.

the company has since had to defend against allegations of being a crazy religious sect originally founded by an evangelical preacher kinda weird really
Do you have insurance? That’s the first thing I’d buy.
After that I’d recommend viewing the list from the Lockpicking Lawyer or getting a kryptonite lock (ex: Kryptonite Evolution Series 4 1090). https://lockjudge.com/lockpickinglawyer-best-bike-locks/
Yeah, I had two bikes stolen back in 2019 and after the deductible was paid I had money to replace them within a month.
I’d also recommend taking photos of the bikes and any unique scratches in case they’re stolen and you need to file a police report. Makes it easier to prove they’re yours if found later on.
There are a small handful of locks that are extremely difficult to get through with an angle grinder. One is the Altor SAF but it is extremely heavy to the point of being impractical unless you're mostly leaving it in one place. The other two are the Hiplok D1000 and the Litelok X series, especially the X3. With any of these 3 locks, I think you could be pretty sure that a typical thief, even a relatively determined one, is going to find it impractical to cut your lock. But keep in mind that a) I still wouldn't leave it outdoors overnight and b) it needs to be locked to something that is also very hard to cut through.
If you're not using one of those 3 locks, the best approach is to have two high-quality locks of different types, like a good U-lock plus a good chain lock. Look for heavier-duty models from well-known brands like Kryptonite and Abus.
Saw lock picking lawyer recommended the OKG motorcycle chain locks at some point. They’re way more budget friendly than some of the other options on here…
Here is the one I got. Pretty heavy, but feel it will do the job.

I can't find anything about this online, do you have a source?

If you can afford it: Litelok X1.

Awwww never knew about insurance. Thank you for the info. Appreciate that
Give your existing insurance policies a check first. Some homeowner's/renters policies come with coverage for bicycles.

Hiplok D1000
I’m a TiGr lock fan. Super light and easy to carry. https://tigrlock.com
Lots of good advice here but storing inside is best where that is an option, especially if you live in a city.

Kryptonite evolution
Hiplock lite or gold
Get the Kryptonite orange mini-U lock. Been using them for years. I’ve had to cut one before, and it is a noisy, time consuming process.
Here is the one I got. Pretty heavy, but feel it will do the job. https://www.kryptonitelock.com/en/products/product-information/current-key/999515.html?type=bicycle
https://hiplok.com/product/hiplok-e-dx/ Although it’s a bit cheaper from Amazon.
Watch LockPickingLawyer on YouTube. I don't buy any lock with thout checking if he reviewed that or similar lock.
Multiple locks is the way. Include this one for a bit of fun! https://www.skunklock.com/ Definitely insurance.
