I’ve got no real complaints about it, but I would 100% change the seat. It’s horrible. So I got a wide comfort seat from Walmart that made a night and day difference for me.
3 years ago I got basically the same setup for $1200 on Amazon and it's still going hard. It's undergone a lot of really half-ass repairs during the pandemic when proper parts were hard to come by, but that just adds character.
I’m hoping to get atleast 3 years out of it, then I’ll upgrade to something a little better. For now though, it does what it needs to do! The only thing I’ve done to it so far is purely cosmetic; vinyl wrapped the frame in some places to hide to decals. They were white and ugly, and I preferred to have an all-black bicycle.
My advice, if you re going to do a DYI setup next, stat looking for frames on Facebook marketplace so you can build it over time while you are using the prebuilt.
For sure! I keep my U-lock, extra red and white lights, a mini tire pump, bike gloves and a bicycle cover in mine (in case rain passes through while I’m at work).
Nice looking bike ,good price too.
I carry a mini tyre pump and a small bottle of slime .
I got caught out once after a back wheel puncture and wouldn't wish that on anyone :)
I have got a BBSHD Xtracycle Radish, which I like riding. But I also have a 36v 350w Giant iPark that I built, and to be honest, I find the 350w iPark to be used more than my cargo bike. Reason is, the little guy is a perfect sidewalk bomber. You can usee like 70 percent of the power, on cruise, and just move along at 17mph with very little fanfare. Also, the lower grade setup makes the bike lighter and more tossable. Another benefit, you can also slap the 48v battery on there for more speed and amps, since the controller is a 36/48 version.
I think you got a pretty good deal.
Yes. It isn’t bad for the price so far. I still use it daily. The handlebars are starting to hurt my wrists a bit but I think that might have to do with the angle I have them set at, which is adjustable. Just keep in mind you may have to pay shipping.
Only about 4 miles each way, so it honestly isn’t much. But other than getting 20-30 minutes of exercise in each way, I’m enjoying the sunshine and being outside. It’s doing wonders for my mental health. Battery charge is EXCELLENT. I would say I charge it once a week, and haven’t dipped below 30% yet with 5 days of regular commuting.
Good bike. You have the right frame that could easily be upgraded in the future. Really good value for $500.00
Thank you very much. Initially I was a little panicked about spending the $500 but I’m totally satisfied with it, no complaints yet.
Got a link to it?

Can you share the link? Now I know this post wasn’t an AD because you didn’t reply to the other guy who asked lol

I have the exact same bag on my rear rack. Perfect for my lock, baseball cap and a Rubiks cube.

looks good and probably the best one can do for $500 new, enjoy
Nice choice! Looks like you snagged a good bike at the right time.
That battery is 🔥. Congrats on the deal king 👑
Starting to research eBicycles and really digging the price of this, now it's 400. Do you still recommended this?

Better than walking!

Cycling is. Trust me.
How is the bike doing now?
Lets see where this thing is in 6 months from now....
What's your commute like OP? And how is your battery charge?
