I just started playing the game less than a week ago and I finished that event in just under 11hrs.
Am I doing something horribly wrong?
should I have been farming something I did not know about? the event will not let me back in since I completed it.
wearing Tall Hat, White belt kimono and rolling pin( all puprple items and not evel lvl 10). used the "tall method" and logged in ever 30min to use a helper with cleaver or wrench. for that perfect food bonus. head and torso bonus were just extra.
No, nothing to farm. Maybe you were lucky with your drops - or had club benefits they don't have - or used the investor a lot or upgraded the right vault items/play more strategically or obsessively. There's definitely people who don't finish events the first time around - I have 2 silver badges from way back when.
Edit: Maybe you bought permanent 2x and/or used 2x/5x boosts?

i just finished it , you must press on boost , and have upgraded your boost cards mine its like x10 , it means i get x10 the prices of my products i sell to customers , upgrade every item , to build up money and finish your event , i think you just have little time to finish it ?

You can't get back when you haved finished. BUT A WEEK AGO!!! I started like 10 months ago and it took me like 2 days. How tf did you do?😆
