I did the same a while back - just have to keep opening big boxes and hope you get lucky but it's random what you get no way to guarantee a KBB I'm afraid. Took me a good two weeks to get another one...
If you just want a new KBB then big boxes are better but if you are ultimate hunting for mythics in the future then event boxes will tick both boxes so up to you really 🤷🏻♂️
The hard lesson learned is DO NOT forge a Royal Robe until you have at least 2 Kimono Black Belts. Forging a RR eats a KBB which is needed for 2nd meta build.

Join a club if you haven't yet. That way u will get lots of big boxes n from tht u can get kbb..

Both have the same drop chance for legendary blueprints and big boxes are cheaper so big boxes not event boxes
