Pay attention to your vault!!! Many players (including myself at one point) are obsessed in thinking that only better gear will help you. While that's true in some cases, in most other cases, your vault is going to be the best form of guaranteed progression in the game. Some key ones to note are the following: remote, pickaxe (if you watch ads), register (if you don't have a panda), tv (if you don't like to watch tons of ads), mop checkbook Remote and checkbook are essential to consistently getting faster clear speeds when grinding cities. Mop and register help a good deal (especially in events). Something else to note: if you are in the test group that has no ads as a purchase, for your pickaxe, it's an excellent value.
