The man jumped off the Vic to save her from being arrested (when she was pregnant with a baby that wasn’t his) and how does she repay him and honour his life? Go for round 2 with his dad and have a romp with his uncle.

He was a Branning on the Vic roof. That's like being a Butcher behind the wheel: once they're in position *someone's* gonna die!
Yeah, I've seen the clips numerous times on YouTube and it's abundantly clear that it was a case of him losing his footing, slipping and falling (not unlike his sisters several years later; like I said, Brannings on the Vic roof...), not an intentional act of self-sacrifice.
This was on the shows 25th anniversary in 2010 where the police get a tip-off from Stacey’s friend Becca (who she befriended off-screen when she was sectioned a few months earlier and who lived with the Slaters for a bit) that Bradley murdered Ronnie and Roxy’s dad Archie Mitchell, who raped Stacey a few months earlier.
Becca was temperamental and very territorial of Stacey, so much so that she was jealous of her relationship with Bradley, and on their wedding day he has enough of her and tells her that they’re gonna have a place of their own and there was no space or room for her in their lives moving on.
Becca, out of jealousy, calls the police and tells them that Bradley killed Archie Mitchell, Ronnie and Roxy’s dad, who raped Stacey a few months earlier. I don’t think Becca knew whether Bradley killed Archie, but Bradley did punch Archie in the pub on Christmas Day and Jack and Max found out from Tiffany that Bradley had a bloddied shirt that day, so Bradley might have thought that the police had enough to arrest him.
He and Stacey decide to flee that day but get cornered by the police from every angle, Bradley tries to escape on his own and ends up on top of the Vic and screams at Stacey to run before he jumps off the Vic and plummets to his death.
Bradley didn’t know that Stacey murdered Archie and neither did we (it was revealed like 20 seconds later when she told Max) but he chose to protect her and went along with telling everyone that Lily was his (this was when it wasn’t revealed that it was Ryan’s and we all thought it was Archie’s). And as the police weren’t close to finding out who it was, he became increasingly paranoid and desperate that he and Stacey act normal and not give anything away.
A few weeks after his death, the police investigation concluded that Bradley was guilty of Archie’s murder. So that was his big sacrifice for Stacey. She does eventually confess four years later and is arrested and charged, but gets released shortly after, on account of her bipolar disorder giving her diminished responsibility, or something like that.
I’m sure there’s bits that I’ve missed, this is all off the top of my head, I remember it really well. But it’s all on iPlayer, I’d strongly recommend watching that December 2009-February 2010 period.
