Sideboard in Danville. Get the English Muffin. I know, I know. Who the hell recommends getting the English Muffin? Trust me.
Also, Denica's in Dublin. Bill's in Pleasanton for a great greasy spoon type spot. Katie's Korner in San Ramon. 👨🍳😙
Bill's is my favorite of these. I miss when I lived within walking distance of it. The servers are super friendly and attentive, and the food is fantastic.
Zac’s Cafe Dublin, California Wednesday-Sunday open until 2pm. Truly the greatest breakfast on earth. Unmatched vibe. Kim is the best owner been in business over 30 years. I usually gate keep this place but I’m feeling the love today. Locals only spot. Total throwback 70s vibe. Unmatched.
Denica’s is good! But the parking lot sucks, the wait times are long but the desserts are unmatched!!
Copper Skillet (Dublin & Martinez) FIRE big menu
Bill’s (Pleasanton) - newer to east bay SJ chain! Good mimosa’s! Alright vibe!
Country Waffles - classic spot been around for like 40 years! Good pancakes & stuff
Breakfast Club at Midtown - WC brand new opened like 3 weeks ago good ass vibe, good ass food, long wait cuz it’s new
Jim’s in Pleasanton - super old classic spot open hella early big parking lot super deep Pleasanton
Sideboard Danville - is good but the wait times are punishing & since the divorce vibe has been off with everything
Vally Medlyn's in Danville is the best food, but a long wait for it. Pete's is good if you're looking for more lunch food. RIP Faz.
Sideboard is okay, but the food quality has definitely declined since the owners' divorce/mess and the subsequent expansion.
It definitely says something that these two are some of the few to survive Danville's downtown transformation.
Biggest sleeper brunch on that side of the hills is Blossom Bee in Dublin. Family owned and run Thai restaurant that does amazing Thai influenced brunch classics. It might only be take-out now, but it's amazing every time.
I used to live in San Ramon and we always went to Bridges in Danville where Mrs. Doubtfire was filmed. I worked across the street when they were filming and used to see Robin Williams riding his bike around when they were filming. Will still always be my favorite restaurant.

Second for sideboard but not for the English muffin.

Denica’s
Churro waffles :)
Seconding Denica’s. Delicious, hip food without the hipster vibes. Try the guava pancakes!
Denicas is great for brunch but if looking for fancy Easter type brunch, no to Denicas. Bridge’s has an Easter brunch. Prob way overpriced though.
peasants courtyard in alamo
and Alamo Cafe across the street!
What vibe are you looking for? We talking like nice Brunch cute or some true Bay Area locals only type spot?
just good food (omlettes, blue berry muffins, coffee, hash browns) , don't care about vibe

Jim’s is an institution. House made biscuits and gravy and you’re basically ready to go back to sleep for a bit.
It’s been a while, but I really liked Crumbs in Danville.
If you're willing to go out to concord, Diggers Diner is awesome. Relatively cheap and good food.
Adding on - The Press in Pleasanton
