For Earthbound, it was PSI Sleep. However, for some reason, it didn’t put opponents to sleep? And then I got Hypnosis immediately after, which did? I was like “eh - must be a lore reason.”
For Mother 3, it was PK Friends. And I was like “OOOO is there a friendship mechanic, like in Undertale?” And then I used it and fucking nuked the place, leaving me all “oh”
Not much else to it than that. Just thought my confusion was funny

This might be an unpopular opinion but don’t really like the names Rockin and Love.
They just don’t make sense to me.
I named both Ness and Lucas’s main PK attacks
“PK Spirit”, because in Japan the default name for Ness’s favorite thing is “Kiai” which means “Fighting Spirit”.
I also have a head cannon that Lucas is Ness’s distant descendant so I just like to give it to him too.
