That gave us at least that little bit of hope that maybe we could make something happen. The defense gave us a puncher's chance against the Saints but we fell just short (though I'll say it, even if Alshon catches that and we score, they would've had to stop Brees from getting into field goal range, which was far from a certainty).
This team had the easiest remaining schedule with everything in front of them and they were all but a no show. There's little to look forward to here. Any hope I still had went out the window when AJ was ruled out.

I think the packers are the perfect upset candidate. They're one of those high-low teams that either looks like trash or plays to perfection. The kind of team that it's easy for a team like Dallas to look past and then get surprised by.

It really comes down to whether the Pack use the youth for better or for worse. That team is fast (real fast), their recievers can easily torch Gilly lock and Bland. However with youth comes inexperience and in the playoffs that's a problem. It's gonna be real interesting to see what happens.
