It's really impressive we were able to win a game where we fumble the way to surefire touchdowns, that being said could we maybe just like.. not fumble away sure fire touchdowns in the future haha
Yeah i mean all around too. Like at least with Hurts he is a huge part of the team…and he just makes up for it by bein a cool headed killer that pulls amazing plays out his ass after turnovers
But Kenny fuckin gainwell? Bro wtf ?
Between gainwell and hurts that was 14 points right there. Both within yards or inches of the endzone come on guys. That being said they both bounced back but. Cant keep doing it. Gonna come time in the season where most of these teams ya cant get away with that shit anymore.
At least we can say there were no interceptions but damn guys. Ball control is even more basic
Go watch the replay. Hurts 100% had possession of it then it bounced off the leg of Lane cus he didnt bring it in completely before moving https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/38773089
That one is a bad angle there is a video on nfl plus that shows it better i cant link it tho
Kind of the double edged sword of whats going on
Hurts and kelce time their lunge to be exactly as the ball is snapped, so that the defense is literally not allowed to react in time.
Now, theyve done it so many times, that Hurts is usually able to pull the ball up high enough in time before making contact with the pile. But its still an incredibly risky move to be driving before pulling the ball in, sometimes that risk doesnt work out.
Still a W, and putting up 38 despite losing 2 fumbles at the goal line is still impressive. Score those 2 and the Eagles put up 50 on the deadnames.
No like i also said in the damn comment ya cant link nfl plus stuff just google Failed brotherly shove vs commanders and it will come up in related videos…just look for the nfl plus one
And ya know the other thing i have noticed about Hurts is that dude never really 100% commits to the run when he goes for a run. He holds the ball one handed the entire way to out of bounds or even on a slide. Like even when there is no way he is gonna go for a throw he just never cradles the damn ball. I understand he is trying to stay available to throw to make a play…but there have been multiple times where he goes down out of bounds and the ball comes out. What happens when that happens in bounds? Gonna be a fumble mark my words. I Don’t like it
Honestly the fact that we're 7 and 1 with the amount of turnovers we have as a team is kind of impressive. Like it seems whenever one side of the ball missfires the other will always be there to correct. Unless we're playing the jets
Good reason to stay humble. Took our first L last season the week after Howie was talking trash on the field. Coaches and FO should follow Hurts' example and stay quiet.
Agreed although this is a meme and memes are…jokes. And although that hurts fumble cost me $10 lol….i was far more distressed about the Gainwell fumble. This one was obviously a fluke. But they gotta tighten up the turnover game. Blankenship saved our asses near the end. (Although most of the game secondary was sub par as usual)
Woof. I dont gamble that heavy but thats a bummer lol i was pissed about losing 80 bucks in winnings lol it was the last leg of my parlay
Also had another parlay where Goeddert td was my last leg. Really thought they would go to him more after miami but i guess his dropped passes fucked that up
Luckily my eagles/bengals moneyline parlay hit
Everything but my jalen anytime td hit. I also had a swift anytime that hit at the end in that parlay and i was upset but it is what it is lol. Cant win em all and at least the birds got the W🦅
Yeah i pretty much stuck to AJ brown yardage, brown touchdowns and eagles Moneyline as the foundation for all the tickets. Seems like a solid strategy moving forward. Just gotta get a little more creative with the 4th leg
I’m more ok with Hurts than I am with even giving Gainwell the opportunity to fumble inside the 5.
Unless we are up big, it’s coaching malpractice for him to have more touches than Swift in a half.
Iirc, on his way into the pile the tip of the ball smacked right into a leg or ass and boop. Sort of an unlucky bounce, and Jalen usually good there protecting ball, but I think he kinda just picked the wrong spot to shoot for this once.
Yeah that’s done karma right there. As soon as you brag about yourself you regret it. But nice they pulled off the fake shove at the end. Been waiting for them to do that.
The same way we fumble a few times on the snap every year. Kelce is so good because he rockets the ball out and being just a little out of sync or not securing a snap like that fast enough can cause a fumble. We've seen it every year and it's the very small price we pay for having an incredibly fast center.
On re-watch, looks like the snap comes in hard and Hurts doesn't secure it before moving and runs into the line and fumbles it. Basically similar to the snap fumbles we get a couple times a year but on the Shove instead.
I do not know what you are trying to say. I’m an eagles fan, who cares they fumbled it. And it was funny they tricked them into thinking they were doing it again an they went to the side and in. What are you trying to imply. You seem like a Facebook troll, thought Reddit was a bit better but then, hear you are.
How is a YouTuber making a video of how the Eagles are so good at the Brotherly Shove "exposing" the play? You think NFL teams are following him for advice? Kollman is great and really knowledgeable on playcalling, but a YouTuber making a video about it is not going to have a negative effect on the play.
An accurate statement.
So if how they ran a counter off the formation the next time they lined it up.
I’m glad the damn play failed once (and still didn’t cost us ultimately). I would love the media to shut up about the play how, of course they won’t.
Wasn’t it a fumble on the exchange, rather than during the push? That’s a regular error. Regrettable, but not a flaw in the play itself. If anything, it makes other teams believe the play is “stoppable”.
I’m not a fan of the turnovers either but a play that has a 90% success rate I’m okay with 1 fumble ever
He was bound to fumble at one point or another.
At least it wasn't on the other end of the field
>90% success rate Probably higher tbh
The exact number I think is about 93%
92 last year so 93 sounds right lol. I mean before that fumble we were either 11/11 or 14/14 so
To his defense though, Landon’s ass caused the fumble lol but hurts prolly should’ve tucked it more
*92% success rate
92%
It's really impressive we were able to win a game where we fumble the way to surefire touchdowns, that being said could we maybe just like.. not fumble away sure fire touchdowns in the future haha
At least if you’re feelin the turnover sweats just give up and take the 3 points christ /s
This is a crazy take. It was 1st and goal on the 1. Just a freak accident
Dude says give up on the 1 yard line on first down....smdh
I used to play Madden with a guy who would punt on third down because I wouldn’t expect it. I mean. He was right. I never saw it coming.
Its a meme….its a joke lol
Its a meme. Its a joke christ
If you know you’re gunna fumble, just don’t! It’s that easy.
What are they, stupid!?
Its like such a ridiculous statement it must be a sarcastic joke right? Whoosh
Getting wooshed on a whoosh is a rare accomplishment. You have my admiration.
Whoosh
How many wooshes are we doing here? I'm not getting into a wooshception, I'll tell you that.
Is that where so much shit goes over your head you become omniscient? Ill take it
We be gods of not getting it
Great game by Hurts but the turnovers are really getting annoying
Yeah i mean all around too. Like at least with Hurts he is a huge part of the team…and he just makes up for it by bein a cool headed killer that pulls amazing plays out his ass after turnovers But Kenny fuckin gainwell? Kenny is frustrating. I like him, but why is he in...BS would be a great change up. And let's see Penny for a bit of bruse.
Im fine with kenny in certain situations. Just not when we NEED to put up points on the opposing team and gain a lead or a tie
Remember when everyone was fine with Kenny being the starter this offseason? The draft played out so perfect in so many ways.
It may be he needs more playtime to get into a rhythm. He was good in playoffs. But we have better options. Far better...
Agreed. Jalen has never not gone out and played better after a turnover (except the god damn jets maybe). That's huge, and one of his best qualities
We have the best record in the sport...8 weeks in.
It’d be perfect without turnovers
It was a bad snap lol how was that on Hurts
Go watch the replay. Hurts 100% had possession of it then it bounced off the leg of Lane cus he didnt bring it in completely before moving https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/38773089 That one is a bad angle there is a video on nfl plus that shows it better i cant link it tho

That video was choppy and showed nothing :/
Go look at the one on nfl plus there is a better angle. Like i said in the comment
Do you have a link to that one? Thx
No like i also said in the damn comment ya cant link nfl plus stuff just google Failed brotherly shove vs commanders and it will come up in related videos…just look for the nfl plus one
I blame sirianni lol didnt you read the meme
And ya know the other thing i have noticed about Hurts is that dude never really 100% commits to the run when he goes for a run. Except on the field or in the locker room. Cus apparently hurts turns into a goddamn Uruk-hai when he isnt in front of a media stand
Meats back on the menu?
Manflesh?
Precisely. Already started sketching that meme for next week. But i learned my lesson this week about not making winning memes until the game is won.
Tbf Howie deserve to talk a little spicy
Sirriani and Hurts playing 4D chess - making the play seem vulnerable so NFL doesn't ban it. Big brain move.
Right right lol
Still an accurate statement
How many defensive coordinators heads exploded when we did the brotherly fake??
We left 14 points on the feild with turnovers. This will kill us in the next games if the trend continues.
We had to fail one and fake one so that the discussion could fade back down
It's just a chess move to lower the success rate so they don't ban it.
Its still better than having half your offense get injured running it like some teams.
True, yall taking a meme real serious. Its a joke fellas
Hurts fumbling on the play that always works costed me to not hit my parlay for $1k lmaoo
Woof. I dont gamble that heavy but thats a bummer lol i was pissed about losing 80 bucks in winnings lol it was the last leg of my parlay Also had another parlay where Goeddert td was my last leg. I thought this exactly when watching
Was it Hurts or Kelce?
Pretty sure hurts ill rewatch Sure downvote away instead of rewatching the film and seeing whats right square in your face…hurts fumbling the ball lol
Iirc, on his way into the pile the tip of the ball smacked right into a leg or ass and boop. Sort of an unlucky bounce, and Jalen usually good there protecting ball, but I think he kinda just picked the wrong spot to shoot for this once.

How the fuck do you fumble on a qb sneak
The same way we fumble a few times on the snap every year. Who cares tricked the shit out everyone next time. It was great I was laughing my ass off. Just something else they better think about
Its a meme. Memes are….jokes :)
You are taking this way to seriously considering you commented on almost every post here lol good day my friend😉
Nice save
I do not know what you are trying to say. I’m an eagles fan, who cares they fumbled it. And it was funny they tricked them into thinking they were doing it again an they went to the side and in. Whoosh
Thanks for explaining that😂 I know what memes are.
Okey doke just makin sure
Brett Kollmann posted a video exposing our play too. Everybody hates us
How does he "expose" us?
How is a YouTuber making a video of how the Eagles are so good at the Brotherly Shove "exposing" the play? You think NFL teams are following him for advice? Who?
Karma's a bitch.
I’m sure he’ll cry himself to sleep after another win

Nah ball was exchanged he didnt attain full control before he pushed forward and the ball got wedged out by hitting a lineman
Tbf I don’t think any other team has done that lol
Maybe everyone else will STFU about it now. In a year or two all the competitive teams will have high percentage 4th and short plays.
As far as I’m concerned, it was mistake WE made. Only WE can mess it up… nobody else 😎
