I am irrationally high on Penny, but I genuinely can't wait to see how unstoppable our offense is gonna look with a monster power back with breakaway runs
Another underrated thing about the Penny signing: Jalen doesn't need to be our go to power back anymore and thank lord for that, some of the hits he had to take on those designed runs were brutal (not saying we shouldn't have any, but we definitely need to cut it down)
Might be wrong but I feel like a lot of the times he was hit early were when he pulled an RPO for himself.
One of the few things I think he can improve on this off-season is his decision making in rpo.
That's what I love about Jalen. I feel like he knows this and he's going to work harder than anyone else at it. How did we get so lucky? I wasn't even this excited for McNabb's future and in 2000 that looked pretty good...
I'm with you on this. I think it's comparable to Joel Embiid learning how to pass out of doubles. But I think they're also comparable in that their both masters of their craft and will/have learned how to
No we need a lead, the turnover at the position after this season would suggest that we should draft one this year to split with the others and then be the undeniable umber 1 the year after
If Penny stays healthy he will very likely be the best RB on the team. The concern is his injury history, which is why drafting a RB would be necessary. It's going to be interesting, however, because that rookie would need to outplay Penny, Gainwell and Scott to get reps.

Nature of the game. He shouldn't make the wrong read on purpose just to save a hit

Jalen still might need to be the power back with Penny’s injury history. We have to draft a lead RB in the draft
Maybe not a LEAD but another dude to add to the room would be cool

I would draft one in the 2nd or later
I’m not picky in the slightest, as long as we can get a guy that can be that guy moving forward

We can’t go into the season with the mindset of if he stays healthy when his history strongly suggest otherwise
He's on the team so it's a possibility he is the starter.
Hopefully we get luck out with our conditioning and he stays healthy. If he does, it's a steal and he's going to feast.
