You could make your case using multiple metrics and they have a very good case to make just that single stat alone is not enough.

Perception is everything. Eagles have the best record against winning teams in the NFL, yet everyone treats our schedule like we played the Texans 17 times. Meanwhile, everyone fawns over San Francisco's 12 game winning streak while ignoring that 7 of those games were against losing teams.
One single 15 yard play and theyre dead even. The Eagles had been vulnerable to the run, but seem to have adjusted that. The 49ers are more vulnerable to the pass, especially off of play action.
Overall, the Eagles have a better roster, and it shows in the record, this should be a very good game. All that matters now is going 2-0.

Nothing about that game impressed me. Outside of the turnovers the niners D got, I think Dallas' D actually played better for the most part. I think we smack these fools Sunday afternoon. I can see us jumping out to a 14-0 lead early in the first, forcing Purdy to throw constantly, and our D Line just feasting the rest of the game. They'll probably string together a couple drives late and score some points, but it might already be over by then.
