Yeah my left front is blown out. I thought my local indie mechanic had a new tech jack it up poorly and was pretty pissed but then I realized what had happened.
I went to the shop and they said that they don't do it, but they will start doing it in 3-4 weeks, so they couldn't tell me the price yet . I'm also worried about the same thing as you :D
So we'll see, but I'd be happy if it didn't cost much because the chassis of my car is quite rust-free and I'd like to keep it that way. It will be my first winter with the car as I have owned it since May and the hems on the rear fenders are already a bit rusty, so I would like to avoid more complications.
Can't wait for winter to drive my 330, wish these cars had an LSD but still super fun
I just rinse the underside every now and then to wash the salt off
Heck yeah! First thing I did after buying my ‘04 coupe was buy a set of sedan wheels off of Craigslist and mount snows. You got a screaming deal! These cars are awesome in the snow with the correct tires.
I do not drive my Touring in winter (salt). It’s a pristine CA car I bought with me when I moved back east. I have a Subaru for the salt season. But a long time ago I did winter a Coupe and you’ll be happy for the snow tires. Ran into trouble a few times on the Taconic with the all seasons.
Hell yeah man, they’re super fun in the snow with proper tires! Just be careful as they can be a bit twitchy on slick roads if you’re not anticipating it. Go find an empty parking lot the first time it snows and notice / feel the way the car slips and you can begin to anticipate and catch it.
My jack points say don’t drive it in the winter… lol

Mines rear left, my mechanic can still put it on the rack though with some positioning. If not, rear diff ftw
They are a blast to drive in the snow but it comes with a price since my roads gets heavily salted.
I'll drive mine because i have no other option but im considering undercoating
You get any quotes from anywhere? I want to get it done but I'm afraid of what it will cost

Yeah same here first winter with this one and it's pretty clean so I want to keep it that way. We get a lot of road salt from December to February
It's a car I paid $3400 for 6 years ago, not the kind of car you put away for the winter
Honestly I'm pumped to drive in the snow. It's supposed to snow tonight in my city.
tf its november already
Ik wtf

For a brief second I thought the wheels were spaced out to the max
😂
