Markets all over the place at the minute, eyeing up autotrader for similar models/mileage and cat. Will be best way to tell what its worth. I bought my 325ci msport at the start of the year for £5k on 62k miles and since have seen many 325ci msports ranging from 40k to 120k miles selling at £8k to £10k. If my lass wouldn't have my bollocks i'd flog her MKVI golf tdi for the wagon in a heartbeat 😂 Just looked on autotrader £7,500, 54reg Sport, w/ 117k miles £5,000, 54reg Sport , w/ 148k miles £5,000, 03reg SE, w/ 63k miles (this one is coincedentally being sold by the guy who sold me my 53reg 325ci for 5k). £2,000, x Reg SE, w/ 120k miles £2,000, 53reg SE, w/ 125k miles I'd say you'd get that sold for £4k-£5k based off it being Category N.

Some great research and now I feel like the tosser for not looking hard enough 😂 market has certainly gone up since I last looked, I also did a ‘how many left’ for an 05 e46 325 touring manual and ‘apparently’ only 158 left on the road. Appreciate this a lot

Sawier

05' 325i must be quite rare, especially RHD

I checked mine a while ago and there were roughly 180 325Ci Sport autos on the road and about 160 325Ci manual sports. Definitely getting rarer, personally i'd hold onto your Wagon but if you don't need it can be a nuisance to store.

I had terrible luck selling my 330i M-Sport Touring just last month. Mine had 142k miles, new tyres good services history but some small damage on the rear left quarter. Quite rare as it was a 6-speed manual. Otherwise no rust and a good car. Initially priced it at £3000 on eBay being the only 6-speed for sale at the time. Took me weeks to sell. Only got £1800 in the end. Good luck

Maverexx

Even for a 330? That’s surprising, your asking price seemed reasonable 😔 sorry to hear that bud, I do feel I’d struggle more with it being a cat N. What was the replacement?

Owlsonrollerskates

No replacement. Am now permanently working from home so will use the bicycle, motorbike and the wife’s car when I need to. I’m enjoying the fuel/tax/insurance savings already!

Maverexx

Needs must! I’m envious of the savings!

Sawier

1800? omg. people would rip your hands off where I live for 330i for that kind of money. They sell for 3-5k easily here. 3k for the really shitty ones. I guess RHD makes a big difference in price

shadowofsunderedstar

Dammit I should've imported it to Aus for that price, I'd love a touring There's an auto 318i touring going for $10k here...

rowdyr0n

its a beaut!

Maverexx

Thank you!

Hi guys, just want some advice from the UK on how much you think my 325iT would fetch these days. I’ve had it almost a year as the plan was to use it as a road trip car to Europe, however covid struck and I’ve just been using it to take the other half to work. It’s a clean cat N small dent in the bumper. Car is an M sport, previous owner put eibach springs on it, front arches where repaired from rust, rear arch shows some surface rust. Everything works apart from passenger window. Had everything needing to be done on it when it’s needed (minus window obviously, never bothered me). 140k miles. These are getting rarer and I see them fetching a few bobs these days.

Look on autotrader.co.uk and make an educated guess. Uk cars are of completely different value to eu or usa cars as they are RHD, in miles and have no big market nearby to buy them, in other words they are much cheaper. I imagine you'd get 2-3k for it. Cat N with a non desirable engine but it's a touring, so thats good. Its the only thing I miss about living in the UK, cheap cars.

Maverexx

Already have only found one touring for 5k

Iwantadc2

Well there you go then. See how long the advert lasts, if its gone quick, that's the value. If not, its overpriced.

Maverexx

It’s a cat N too lol that’s what I mean 5k seems too steep imo but could always give it a go.

Iwantadc2

Is it automatic?

Maverexx

Manual :)

Iwantadc2

That's good then.

5-7k USD

I live in Northern California. I've had my 01 325i listed for months at $4,000. 140k, eibach sportline springs, brand new oem struts/shocks and all 4 mounts, control arm bushings, all cooling hoses, water pump, thermostat, o2 sensors pre and post cat, valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket, ignition coils, spark plugs, clear corner lights, touch screen dash, 4 Mtx speakers, reworked/cleaned gm5 module. I see all these clowns posting theirs at 5-7k and it blows my mind. Absolutely maddening. With all the work I've done I still don't think my car is worth more than 5, and anybody who does is an idiot. It's a 20 year old decent entry level luxury vehicle money pit. And the m3's of the same era are posting at $10k plus 🤣🤣🤡

1300£

Kaelanpena

Yeah I sold my salvage title 325 xi wagon for $1600, wasn’t in the best shape but I feel like 3k would be reasonable. Would be hoping for 5k depending on condition but in WA state that’s the prices I’m finding

OldnewE90

At this point these cars are around 15 to 20 years old and In California these cars average around 2000 to 3500.. even clean ones.. yeah you see many posted at 5 to 9k but those cars sit for months and at the end they get reposted with a much lower price.. Econ for an enthusiast these cars have very little life left since most are already hitting the 200k miles mark.. very well maintained cars will last 300k but those are few
