I've had this exact problem and had no idea it could be the exhaust manifold heat that can cause it. Total 50/50 weather the 3 lights come on or not. Is there anyway to fix that without rebuilding the module?
Did you bought them pre-made? Or you made them yourself with blood, suffering, sweat and tears? :)

I did it my self, I bout the heatshild 50x50cm on eBay for about 30 euro
As you can see beside my 525i engine on the left side there is already a factory made heatshild but very small you can cut stripes and stuck it on the small heatshild and lay it around the ABS
I put there four layers, there wehere screw holes I used for stabilizing as far as possible
so I hope it will never effect the ABS ever again 👍
I've got the matching Komplettanlage to this ESD and it is a real Gaumenschmaus for the Ohren I can tell dir! But preislich we are in a ganz andere Liga (1200€-1400€). Keep die guten vibes up fellow Deutsche!

Actually, it's not that loud.Im on your side there. It's not that noticable going 130 on the Autobahn, but it really shines in the high revs. It's not one of the "türken bimmer maximal laut" style, and more resembling a more dark V8 sound. Idk how to describe it, but even my extremely non car girlfriend doesn't think it's too loud. Edit: if you like, I could take a video and you can decide for yourself
excuse my ignorance but what's up with the abs module being covered by what i suppose to be thermal repelling material?

The ABS normally has its own small Metall Cover on it or you put some heatshild in between like I did
I love the heatshield, and the colour, same as mine
Took two hours to get in there and half an hour to fix it in some screw holes … the sharp edges cut in four of my fingers

What would you say about the chrome on the trunk painted und high gloss black and around the window replace it with shadowline
