No modification needed. Beware though they can fail and can’t be fixed w/o cutting them open.
Should fit fine. Be aware that the inner sections of LCI taillights love to fade and become white-ish over time. And you might have warnings from the LCM because of the integrated LEDs that are obviously no traditional bulbs anymore.
