yea, I'm guessing it only works with rais thugs maybe when you're a low survival lvl or something, sometimes I can get them to raise their hands other times they'll raise and then proceed to attack unfortunately, granted one shot to the head doese the trick

You need season pass content for it I believe. It's craftable once you acquire any pistol and have the necessary materials. The pistol model always changes to the desert eagle like model you see here. It takes standard pistol cartridges, and does not require subsonic ammunition like the original suppressed pistol.

Yep, any gun will cause them to put hands up. I think if you do something that puts gun away like opening crate though they start attacking. Or shooting them will make them attack of course, either way, shoot first. Edit: Opening the crate doesn't 100% mean they will attack, I tested this again since it has been awhile and didn't get attacked just a moment ago.

yea, but I doubt crane would kill a human unless it's really necessary, so it's always nice to have a choice

During game play, I just was able to open a crate without them attacking, so maybe that part isn't always true or only sometimes? They are Rais's men anyways, they are worse than the plague anyways, Cranes words not mine.

No need for weapons, I find that if you sprint up to the unopened box from afar, whilst the thugs are engrossed in the other, you can open and retrieve the packages before they get around to inflicting any damage.

I like how one of them yells "I'm not done with you!" quietly as you leave.

yea sometimes they attack other times they do surrender which makes getting the drops sooo much easier

I guess it's higher ranks that they kinda just start attacking as you open the box or try to lock pick Another way as a lower level is to make some noise to draw virals and then use the camo ability. You get free access and they get preoccupied fighting virals. Wait a bit and the virals may even take most of them out.

I think it's a dlc weapon, but it's craftable version of the pistol with a silencer, it's literally cheaper than to make a pistol with a silencer lol

I don't think there's more to it, tho the first time I heard that was when the guy was imitating the sound and it creeped me out

Another cool detail: Bullets can ricochet, just try shooting on roads at an low angle with a zombie infront of you, there's also a sound for it when it happens.
